Time Warner Cable has banner ads at the bottom of the guide. That's pretty fail!

I keep a lot of crap. This is an ad from TV Guide (remember TV Guide?) from February 15, 1998.

William Gibson and Tom Maddox collaborated on an episode of the X-Files called "Kill Switch."

A 35mm TV Guide promotional camera! WOW! I bet you're jealous! I'm not sure how long this ol' camera was kicking around in my mother's closet.

The January 25 - January 31, 1964 issue of TV Guide Magazine featured a special insert entitled "America's Long Vigil". It described the period from Nov. 22 to Nov. 25, 1963, when US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. The article goes into great detail in describing the television coverage of the historic events of that weekend, and makes for a fascinating read.

In the San Francisco International Airport terminal there was a great display of early TV memorabilia.

With little time between flights I hurriedly took a few photos. I wish I could have studied these displays in more detail.

Wow, you never know what you'll find, when you go through that box of old prints in the closet.
