With the Grey's Anatomy writing staff due back to work next week, hard decisions are starting to be made about who will and won't be walking the halls of Seattle Grace this fall. And thus far, we have at least one "casualty."
T.R. Knight made his last appearance as George in the show's shocking season finale in May, and will not be back in the fall, EW.com reports.
Knight's exit, unconfirmed by either ABC or his personal rep, suggests that George will not survive the severe trauma he suffered in the end-of-season bus accident. Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes recently dismissed the idea of giving the character an "extreme makeover" and recasting with a new actor as "ridiculous."
The good news is that Jessica Capshaw will not only return to Grey's this season, but she has also been promoted to series regular status, sources tell TVGuide.com.
Capshaw's Dr. Arizona Robbins arrived midway through last season and quickly established herself as a fan favorite, as the quirky, perky head of pediatric surgery struck a spark with Sara Ramirez's bi-curious Callie.
Now all eyes are on Katherine Heigl. The season finale also placed a sizable question mark on the fate of Izzie, who rebounded — only to then suffer an abrupt setback — following brain tumor surgery.
Although Heigl has not been lacking for big-screen roles, she said in March that should Rhimes want to keep Izzie alive, "I'm there." Can Grey's possibly weather the loss of two original cast members in one fell swoop?
An ABC spokesperson would not discuss Heigl's contract status, while the actress' personal rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The January 25 - January 31, 1964 issue of TV Guide Magazine featured a special insert entitled "America's Long Vigil". It described the period from Nov. 22 to Nov. 25, 1963, when US President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. The article goes into great detail in describing the television coverage of the historic events of that weekend, and makes for a fascinating read.

Grey's Anatomy has prescribed an encore for X-Files alum Mitch Pileggi.
Pileggi, who first guest-starred on the ABC drama toward the end of Season 3, will return for the two-hour Season 6 premiere, again playing hospital board chairman Larry Jennings, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
When Pileggi first appeared as Jennings, the Seattle Grace bigwig required medical attention after a trip to the Amazon left him with a carnivorous fish lodged in an unfortunate part of the anatomy.
For his encore, Pileggi's hospital mucky-muck will have official business to tend to. It perhaps relates to not one but two staff doctors, Izzie Stevens and George O'Malley, looking the Grim Reaper in the eye.
Grey's Anatomy 's season premiere airs Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 pm/ET.
Shows like the Bad Girls Club are very popular among young female viewers. The show demonstrates that in order to be respected by another female you must be cruel and aggressive.

This has to be the best noodle I have ever eaten. No noodle I have tried since is able to measure up to this one. Its texture and taste is simply perfect. The feeling of satisfaction after the first bite, is indescribable.
The restaurant is located next to the train station of Datong (大同, province of Shanxi). It is very small, has only 2 tables, one of them being the workbench for making dough. We wouldn’t have eaten in this little place judging by its appearance. It was the taxi driver we hired for the day, Zhao, told us about it.
Zhao is a member of the communist party, she is so proud of it that she hangs a sign above the license plate in front of her taxi that reads: “member of the communist party”. Compare to the many communist party members in China today who have turned to the “dark” side, drowning themselves in greed and corruption; Zhao is indeed unique.
She still believes and lives the traditional values of the Chinese Communist Party: “Serve the people”. She told us many of her stories, including an incident where she traced and caught a murderer, and how she helped a Sichuan man to find and save his sister who was sold to Shanxi by a human-traffiker.
The biggest surprise came at the end of the day, when Zhao told us shyly: ”Actually, my stories had been made into a TV movie in 2001 by CCTV. I never watched it, don’t know if it is good or not, it is called 一路真情.” Real life turned to a movie! What a character!

Over the past couple of weeks, I noticed that some of the channels have brought back 80's cartoons, such as He-Man, Bravestarr, and Inspector Gadget. More recently, this particular channel has started showing TV shows such as Fraggle Rock, Family Ties, and Doogie Howser.
