Whilst having a break from the Bird Photos and reflecting on all my pictures from 2017 I came across this panorama of Dyrham Park I shot during the height of Summer. Stiched with Lightroom from 13 shots

trust - its not always that easy

This young deer let me get about 10 feet from her on our recent trip to Lake Guntersville.

Never trust your healthcare, and especially your brain, to the undead. :/

HFDT, and Happy Hallowe'en, everybody!!! :D

My original shot for tonight.

Got distracted with the whole - drawing-on-myself thing.

Slightly more inspirational....which is what I was truly feeling.

But ah....perhaps tomorrow I'll leave the eyeliner for my eyelids, eh?

It's a cruel cruel world, to face on your own,

A heavy cross, to carry alone,

The lights are on, but everyone's gone,

And it's cruel

It's a funny way, to make ends meet,

when the lights are out on every street,

It feels alright, but never complete,

without you,

I trust you, if it's already been done, undo it,

It takes two, it's up to me and you, to prove it,

All the rainy nights, even the coldest days,

you're moments ago, but seconds away,

The principal of Nature, it's true but, it's a cruel world,

We can play it safe, or play it cool,

follow the leader, or make up all the rules,

whatever you want, the choice is yours,

So choose,

I trust you, if it's already been done, undo it,

It takes two, it's up to me and you, to prove it,

I trust you, it's already been done, undo it,

It takes two, it's up to me and you, to prove it,

I trust you, if it's already been done, undo it,

It takes two, it's up to me and you, to prove it,

I trust you.

SPRING,

So in Hamburg - today. Wow what was that for a day. During my stroll through the city, I would type, one third had a pair of sunglasses on and the corners of the mouth showed up. Toll.

Thus the photo. So I ran back through the city, looking for my photo. I came to meet this well-dressed lady and I thought that it must happen. You have to understand that I have quite often seen a person with whom I thought would be a great photo, but this was not a photo. I have myself and my project so kindly presented, but I noticed pretty quickly that the woman had serious doubts. I was really "put into the stuff" to give the lady the Trust to be photographed by me. As you can see I have succeeded, and I hope you like the photo. I think it's really good.

Here's something technical. I have photographed in recent days with the long focal length (135mm) and I must say that my portraits with this focal length particularly liked. One drawback is that I always leave 3-4 meters from the person needs, so I get a little more with the picture.

How do you like this focal length?

Sometimes in life we have to take a little time out just to make sure that we are on the path we truly want to be on. It’s so easy to wander off in all sorts of directions, becoming distracted by all sorts of things and right now that is exactly what I’m doing I’m taking a little time out to make sure I’m on the path I want to be on. I’m going within where everything is so clear and simple so that I can continue on the path that feels right to me. I can never be afraid of my own truth, my truth is all that I have and only I know what feels right in my heart and all I know is that I have to follow it no matter what. I am making lots of changes at the moment and it feels incredible. I feel I am back on track. Love, Peace and Freedom to all of you!!!!

A special moment. One of the Robins that frequent our garden has finally built up enough trust to eat out of our hands. Here he is landing on my wife's hand to take a currant yesterday.

After three months of shooting this lil guy we are rewarded with trust.

Racing at this speed over rough terrain involves you trusting your fellow competitors. If one goes down the other may well follow. I've seen some nasty crashes at this drop, one a few years ago which left the rider out cold and his bike careering into the adjacent field. My cat, with a sense of suspicion in his eyes - hardly surprising as he knows damn well that the bed is a no-go area.
