Thought I would finish off the Easter weekend with this trinity of Osteospermums. All the same plant in the same pot in the greenhouse, awaiting planting out. I like the way you can clearly see the 3 stages of development from youngest to oldest. A marked difference.

The Trinity Church (Dreifaltigkeitskirche) was constructed as a
Lutheran church during the years 1701 to 1717. Today it is regarded as a jewel of the Baroque and represents a landmark accomplishment in the art of building evangelical churches. Its interior has a richly painted wooden vaulted ceiling, and wood carvings on the pulpit, altar and galleries which in fact are remarkable.

An unusual obelisk stands on the central square of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. It was established in 1792 by the famous scholar and church leader - Metropolitan Plato (Levshin). On each side of the obelisk is a medallion with a text explaining exactly what role Laurus played in a given era ...
Many people know the monastery of St. Sergius of Radonezh as the spiritual center of Russian Orthodoxy and a collection of remarkable architectural monuments. But not everyone knows how important he played in the sharp turns of Russian history. And it’s hard to say in which country and how we would live today, if not for this monastery.
St. Sergius taught people primarily love and forgiveness. He himself set an example of humility in the most difficult situations.
Thousands of pilgrims come to the Lavra daily. There are 11 temples in the monastery.
Trinity Church is not the largest in the architectural ensemble of the Lavra, but it is here that the majority of those who came to the monastery are in a hurry. The whole time the temple is open for people to visit, the flow of people going into it does not stop: pilgrims hurry to bow to the relics of the founder of the monastery, St. Sergius.

This is Trinity Episcopal Church in Lancaster, Virginia. It has a really nice bell tower on the roof. You can’t see it because it is behind the trees (Sorry about that), but it rings every so often during the day.
This church has a lot of windows. I think the shutters are upside down, or is it just me?
A wonderful art-deco building in London on Gray's Inn Road. Check out the matching decoration (tulips?) on the main doors and the railings.

Trinity Lane Cambridge is lined with a beautiful row of red-brick Tudor chimney stacks on the right and some turrets from Gonville & Caius College on the left. This lane has changed very little since the 16th-century.
Today, it’s a popular through route and tourist hotspot that provides access to many of the oldest colleges and landmarks in the city!

Holy Trinity Monastery sits atop the highest pinnacle in Meteora. Meteora, Greece is a town in a valley of the Pindos Mountains in the Thessaly region. The dominant feature of the valley are the immense pillars of rock that were formed by eons of geologic activity and weather. Monks began to seek solitude and refuge in the many caves among the pillars from the 9th century. Eventually they formed communities and later monasteries atop the pinnacles. There are currently six monasteries preserved and ruins of another 18. Only a handful of monks and an order of nuns at St. Stephen still live there. The area was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.
The Trinity Monastery of St. Jonas (Ukrainian: Свято-Троїцький Іонинський чоловічий монастир; Russian: Свято-Троицкий Ионинский монастырь) is a Ukrainian Orthodox monastery in the Kyevan neighbourhood of Zverinets, a short distance from the medieval Vydubychi Monastery.
It was Jonas, a Vydubychi hegumen, who founded this monastery in 1864. Princess Vasilchikov, the widow of Kyiv’s Governor General, decided to support the undertaking and presented her dacha to the brethren. It was on these grounds that the katholikon was constructed. The monastery's bell tower, at 110 meters, was to be the tallest in the Orthodox world. Its construction was halted due to the outbreak of World War I. As many as 800 monks resided there at the time.

In the houses on the eve of the holiday, order is established and the houses are decorated with fresh branches of maple, birch, willow, linden, flowers and herbs. This all symbolizes prosperity and a new life cycle.
Moving farther south from Bonavista, we arrived in the small and colorful town of Trinity. We stopped on the hill that leads down and into this radiant town. From high above, it looked more like a mural or a painting, than a distant town. Once again the people were as friendly as the previous town. And, once again the food too was as tasty as we had already enjoyed. I remember we quipped that if one were to own a store selling paint, one would have a thriving business.
This cool church near the little community of Lennep, Montana is apparently the second oldest church in Montana. Nearly every time I go by I stop to take photos of it sitting all alone in the countryside.
