This tree was surrounded by the creek. It's roots were entangled with rocks and earth. It become "treasure island" for the exploration!

Went to the fairgrounds a day early by accident, looking for my hens at the Trade Days and whaddayaknow, a community garage sale. I was saving my $$ for my hens, so these were all the treasures I found. Both baskets and the kettle (that is sooo big and wonderful) $18. The kettle, I paid $15 for it, not really a bargain, but a MUST HAVE in my book.

I'm still going through stuff.

I haven't worn earrings in forever. I still have the gold posts I received when my ears were initially pierced in my teens.

I cleaned the bathroom last night. Like, REALLY cleaned it. I went through all the drawers and tossed out everything. Including medicine that was dated 2008 and some Guerlain bronzer I've had since the late 80s. I also washed the smoke stained walls from floor to ceiling.

Since this is our first ever trip to Las Vegas, we never did see the old Treasure Island sign, but I heard the sign used to be a skull and bones type thing.
