A traveller heads into Croydon at blue hour, past the newly-remodelled (at great expense) Fairfield Halls concert hall. The aforementioned Nestle building towers over the scene.

traveller's joy/clematis brachiate in autumn outfit.

Name not because the plant (flowers and seeds) are a pleasure for travellers to see but rather for its medical uses for travellers on foot or horseback (pza.sanbi.org/clematis-brachiata).

The plant tends to clamber to the tops of trees and shrubs, sprawling over the crowns.

Il n'est pas d'âge pour barouder !

Et si avec le grand âge les voyages se font plus rares et moins longs, de simples accessoires suffisent à faire souffler le vent de l'aventure !

Longue vie à ces braves baroudeurs !

Antony Gormley’s Another Place, Crosby

A perfect evening at the shores of the salty Salton Sea. Its nearly three hours away from San Diego but its a very different world altogether! There are several small beaches but we went to the farthest, the Bombay Beach. The small town is almost deserted as people could't take the stench of dead and decaying fish and sea life. The lake is evaporating and the salt content is rising yearly. Though very harsh, the fishes like tilapia do survive in large numbers and attract serious bird life. Perfect place for ornithologists!

We arrived a bit early and I started hunting for flocks of birds, flying low looking for fish. Took almost 800 shots. Will post a few more that came out nice in coming days!

Thanks for your likes and comments! I highly appreciate it!

Antelope Slot Canyon in the Navajo National Park in Arizona.

Very unique and pretty, however photographing in the dim light conditions was quite difficult and tricky.

Our tour group appeared rushed & opportunistic photography was difficult with the constant movement of people.

My photograph was taken in the lower canyon.

This is pretty much the best I could do.

The Traveller’s joy has nothing to do with British Railways but is one of the names of the Wild Clematis (Clematis vitalba). It is a vigorous climber that grow in abundance alongside roads and railway tracks barely visible here in the background. It flowers in white in summer, and decorates countryside hedgerows and trees with silvery balls of white feathery seadheads in late autumn and winter months. It looks beautiful on a dull day and spectacular in the sun for the joy of passers-by. Taken from Dundas Aqueduct. Somerset, England, UK.

Thank you for your visit, favours and comments, much appreciated.

A military rarity… This Morris 1000 Traveller 39FJ01 was a British Army staff car and was presented to the RAF Museum at Cosford after being rebuilt by apprentices of 24 Base Workshop REME, 1985/86.

This Austin Seven is for taking tourists on tours around Christchurch. The bad news is beside the driver it only fits one passanger.

Where will I find my own word

Is it in the dust of someone’s ash or in the end of my tongue

Where will I find my self

Is it when I look into someone’s reflection or when I close my eyes see inside

Where will I find my life

Is it when I follow world’s current or when I dig under thrown stones

Where will I find something I treasure

Is it when I journey across the world or when it gone slips from my fingers
