Trapped! I have eaten healthy for a week, and lost a little over 2 lbs. Here is the trapped part. I know the only way to lose the weight I need to and to maintain a healthy lifestyle is to get a proper workout. I have had a couple of half a$$ed workouts in my home gym. My problem : I don't have the energy to wake up any earlier than I do (6:15). I don't have the energy to workout after dinner and Evie goes to bed. I am highly motivated to work out on my lunch break, No time to come home and workout, and the only Gym within driving distance is small and has no shower. What a gym with no shower? Who does that? I will find the solution eventually I guess.

“To find out what is truly individual in ourselves, profound reflection is needed; and suddenly we realize how uncommonly difficult the discovery of individuality is.”
― C.G. Jung
In this photographic series, Trapped, I am exploring the state of the human conscience in the present day. Today man has trapped his own conscience somewhere deep within. Our actions, our deeds, and our wishes as a society has no morals to speak of, no ethics to appreciate, and no qualities to look up to. Our souls are trapped inside of us. They look at us and cry at what we have become - pathetic, cruel, and utterly hopeless.

We went whale watching whilst in Canada and had the pleasure of watching this female Humpback, Ripple trap feeding. She swam in small circles with her mouth open to encourage small fish to seek refuge inside before closing her mouth and swallowing the fish.
Sorry, had extreme internet problems the last days ... today it seems to be at least a little bit better - I'm hopeful. :)
Can you see the air trapped under the sheet of water falling over it...Like seltzer, the air is forced, under enormous pressure, to mix with the sea water.....that is why there is an explosion of water foam when it is released. I have understood this for years and tried to photograph it...finally it is really visible here.
I am sure there is some significance to this but I am lost on it. What it feels like to me is the feeling of older people feeling trapped, seeking solace from the divine one upstairs. Or it could just be a clever placement for street art.

Alice In Wonderland.
This is a recreation of the scene in Alice In Wonderland when she drinks out of the bottle and falls inside it. I had been planning a AIW Shoot with Amy (Who has the perfect Alice look) But did not know what to do, until my brother came home with this jar from Ikea :)

Hello image
sing me a line from your favourite song
twist and turn
but you're trapped in the light
all the directions were wrong
You'll fall in love with somebody else
tonight
Help yourself
but tell me the words
before you fade away
you reveal all the secrets
to remember the end
and escape someday
You'll fall in love with somebody else
again tonight
Take a step
you move in time
but it's always back ...
The reasons are clear
your face is drawn
and ready for the next attack
(The Cure, M)
Today was day 3 of my 30 day project and I am already exhausted. I didn't realize how hard it was gonna be to take and edit a photo all in one day. This is a challenge, but a challenge that I am enjoying and learning from everyday. This image was inspired by my sister and I talking about how we're confined to our small town for the summer. Making us basically feel like we're trapped.
