the day of trancendence and transmutation.

An ancient Greek myth tells us this:
At Apollo's temple, Ambrogio fell for the Oracle, Selena, unaware of Apollo's own desires for her. His love sparked Apollo's jealousy, cursing Ambrogio to burn under sunlight's touch.
Distraught, Ambrogio sought aid from Hades and Artemis. Hades obliged, but in return demanded Artemis' silver bow. This theft incensed Artemis, casting a curse of silver upon Ambrogio.
With time, Artemis' wrath softened. She gifted Ambrogio with strength, immortality, and beast-slaying fangs. His sanguinary ink wrote verses of love for Selena. Selena, free from Apollo, returned to her immortal lover, tainted by her mortality.
In a final act, Artemis instructed Ambrogio to drink Selena's blood, granting her an immortal spirit. Their conjoined blood is said to possess the power to transmute any human into a vampire.

It's a human thing to humanise, when you look at Animals, Insects, Spiders, what have you, and notice expressions that we then mentally transmute empirically the emotions, yet do such creatures honestly feel this?! Really depends, many argue that such neurological behaviour must extend from sentience, but how do we judge that? Or measure it? If someone sees a shade of a blue sky and is aware that another may see an alternative hue of, more or less the same colour of blue, could it be argued that one's existential emotion is exact to that of another, now throw in an entirely different species and ponder the question again.
I took this shot of the spider and then saw the "expression" in its eyes, so to speak; a look that I perceive as of guilt and a desperation to change, from this psychopathic killing machine to a more sentient and appreciative being. But that's just me!

The Sun, peering through its veil of Summer haze, shines down on the marshy field of green. The winds whipping across the wetland blowing the grasses to and fro like fire dancers with their torches raised high. As I stand there, entranced, the gusts of wind that flow across my face slowly begin to move me to sway in unison with the grasses before me. I dance with them, my soul illuminated by the light, we are one.

The science of governing nations is increasingly became a sport of selfish interests that ignores and tramples people. Transmutation takes a lot of time, and the most we can do for others is to inspire, so be patient. As you know, the shortest distance between two beings is love. Peace without love does not exist, and hate is the total absence of love. Peace and Love can make magic, but need to make sense within me. And within you. And so on. Peace is when Love makes sense for all. This way, Life really matters !

Here is the new addition to our wildly diverse and ever-growing family. Meet Skittles, the Panther Chameleon. Panther Chameleons are native to Madagascar. I learned a couple cool facts recently about chameleons. Contrary to popular belief, chameleons do not change their colors to camouflage themselves. They actually use their color changes as way to express their moods and possibly even as a way to regulate temperature. What's even more amazing to me is the way that chameleons change their colors.
"A recent study showed that the chameleon’s enigmatic ability to change its visible color is not like other animals, such as octopi and squid, who camouflage their appearance. Chameleons don’t make pigment dispensations into their skin cells. They alter their chromatic visibility by making specific adjustments to special cells nestled deep within the skin. The upper layer of skin changes color by way of structural alterations in reflecting light. This is more prevalent in males than juveniles or females. They have two thick, superposed layers of iridescent skin cells that reflect light and contain pigment; called iridophore cells. These iridophore cells have nanocrystals that vary in organization, shape and size. This is the secret to the chameleon’s enchanting color metamorphoses. They can transmute this arrangement through changes in the skin, either by relaxing or exciting them via the emotions."

Another textural interpretation of trees. I do rather seem besotted by them just now (the trees certainly... perhaps wobbly shots too :) ).
I'm playing with a more impressionistic style at the moment, mainly because ICMs seem to lend themselves to that. I keep hoping I'll get back to some real photography again and suddenly transmute into a normal photographer. I delude myself, i know :)

On this day I met a Labradoodle
half a Labrador; half a Poodle
she looked at me with big brown eyes
I felt the love; there's no disguise
her human had been walking uphill
he tore a tendon; it made him ill
he has an elite walking boot for the fells
and a beautiful dog called Molly to help him get well
I think she wanted me to take her for a run
“walking slowly”, she said, “was not much fun”
and since it is the Lunar New Year of the Dog
she looked at me appealingly; her expression all agog
wondering if I would kindly take her photo
in celebration and a beautiful memento
I told her it would be my pleasure
and she posed so nicely at her leisure
how could I ever forget this beautiful creature
with her loving gaze and beautiful features
I know you will all be just as enamoured
with this Labradoodle who exudes such glamour

Her weapon and ability: Banchou Judgement Orb
- As a nen transmuter, she’s able to emit powerful aura onto her Orb. Once an opponent is hit by this, there’s a high chance of them feeling drained as if the orb absorbed their nen, along with its already powerful physical damage. While it may seem strong, the orb is actually only nullifying their nen abilities for a brief moment, providing a placebo effect to the opponent. The more the opponent feels useless, the longer their nen will be nullified (maximum 10 minutes). Although very useful against some opponents that have a weak willpower, it may not be useful against the strong-willed.
