also hinter dem ding steckt soweit schonmal ganz schön arbeit.

"Good evening, Lord Prout! It seems to be a while since we have seen you here at The Salon! Do you like my new dress? I think it shows off my curves rather well!

"We have a rather special new girl on the corridor this week! Her name is Lady Lulu. She is a great favourite with the pan-European aristocracy, and has even spent boudoir time with members of the famous D'or Baleine family. I think you might enjoy some of her very special 'extras'..."

"Step this way, Lord Abercrombie! I thought you might prefer to use the rear entrance. Next door - at No.3 Westmoreland Mews - I have a girl waiting I'd like you to meet: Lady Lulu. I think you two will get on splendidly!

"Lulu has only joined us in the last month, and she is very excited and enthusiastic about her work here at The Salon. At her interview - when I asked exactly what aroused her in a man - she replied: "Maturity. Achievement. Wealth. Leadership. Power. I have no interest in those handsome young charmers, who have nothing substantial behind them....

"Lady Lulu also has some most unusual and intriguing extras to offer, which I am sure she will be delighted to show you herself - if you would care to step this way, into her boudoir...."

It's Friday!! Not sure where the days of the week go ... just know that this week went by fast.

Today's image is one of the images, with accompanying stories, from the most recent blog post. Highlighting the activities and birds of the natural rookeries of south Florida. So many of these birds undergo amazing transformations during the breeding season. Each spring colors begin to pop, plumage gets accentuated, and many other changes ... most not too subtle, as shown with this tri-colored heron. They begin to strut their stuff to attract a mate. Often becoming a bit more territorial, they are quite the subjects to photograph ... or even just observe ... as they fly around close by and do their courtship dance. It's my favorite time of year for birds, that's for sure. :-)

Sorry that I've been quite busy lately. Have had lots of family obligations out of the ordinary. Hopefully things will get back to a more normal pace soon. Thanks so much for your patience.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead. TGIF!! If you like, take a peek at the blog at www.tnwaphotography.wordpress.com.

Model Matriix

The orbs aren't photoshopped - they're real light orbs from sunflare shining in the phone box. (Only colour, sharpness and contrast was played with in post production.) Perhaps my model really is Superman :)

This is how I bend down to peep through The Salon's two-way mirror – as I spy on my husband and his new lover, Sir Charles Dexter!

As I watch, they are in ‘flagrante delicto’ together, in my hubby’s personal boudoir at The Salon. Hubby is in his “Lulu” persona – a devastatingly sexy femme fatale and seductress, who looks as if she has just wandered off a 1950s Hollywood sound stage. "Lulu" is dressed today in seamed black stockings, crotchless black nylon panties (for easy access!), a lacy black garter belt, a quarter-cup lacy black bra, and (a nice touch!) very long black opera gloves that reach almost up to the armpits.

Now I understand exactly why Sir Charles was so keen to give my husband all that extra “training” before his engagement as Sissy Maid Prudence with the D’or Baleine family! The training was simply an excuse. The two have become passionate lovers, and are spending as much time as they can in the boudoir. And here’s the rub – I am becoming extremely aroused by watching my gorgeously femininized husband being deeply penetrated by the athletic and magnificently equipped Sir Charles.

Both are clearly deriving immense pleasure from each other’s bodies. And I – Lady Rebecca Georgina Arabella Lyndon, Duchess of Basingstoke – am totally turned-on from watching this deliciously erotic spectacle!

I've been photographing this leaf for almost a year now. It's been fun to watch the transformation over time and I find myself nervous to find out what winter will do to this little guy.

My hubby is making excellent progress with his transformation into a TG escort and call girl!

The other evening, Lady Alice and Lady Audrey dressed him in a plunge-neck black cocktail gown, seamed black stockings, and towering heels – and I took him out to dinner at the Savoy. My hubby looked stunning! We must have looked like two very wealthy and slightly decadent lesbian lovers, enjoying a dirty weekend together in London!

“Such lovely cleavage, Darling” I enthused. “Are you wearing a bra under that daringly low-cut dress?”

“No, Sweetheart. The beautiful boobs that Dr Hakagawa gave me last year in Paris don’t really need too much support!”

“Always remember what Simone De Beauvoir says, Darling” I reminded hubby, as we tucked into our caviar. “’One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman’. You are now at the becoming stage, and it is a truly delightful thing to see.”

“But Rebecca, Darling – I do still feel a little nervous out in public like this. I feel that everyone is staring at me!”

“That’s because they are, Sweetheart. You look absolutely stunning, and from now on – whenever you go out like this en femme – you will have horny, lustful men ogling you the whole time. With your high cheekbones, your lovely eyes, your sensuous lips, your perky breasts, your long and very sexy legs – and the wonderful way that the girls in The Salon are doing your make-up – you look like a cross between Ava Gardner and Cyd Charise! Trust me, Darling! I have great plans for you. You are going to become the number one TG call girl in London, and – speaking now as your Madame – you are going to be a goldmine for my business!

“But you do need a new name to use when you are presenting in this deliciously sexy, come-hither mode. Not 'Prudence'. I know... We will call you 'Lulu'! Get it?”

“Yes, I do. Two L’s together – for Lord Lyndon.”

“Precisely!" I paused, and stared proudly at my husband, now transformed into a devastatingly elegant siren of seduction. "The champagne is nicely chilled, Darling! Let us drink a toast to your wonderful new life as the lovely Lulu – femme fatale, courtesan, escort and call girl!”

Active Assignment Weekly: January 24 - 31 -- Makeup

WIT: This is what I do weekly, to keep my skin healthy. When I put this mask on my face, this "makeup" has an almost primal look to it; I suppose women have been trying to beautify themselves since primal times - the more things change, etc...

I used a blue corn mask, red lipstick, natural light, and not much else in Photoshop except a slight desaturation of the skin tones to highlight the red lipstick and blue hue of the mask.

Transomed into a cute hula-girl by Gina Jet Ortiz.

Existence subsists on constant transformation. Without the movements that provide change, our being would be a still-life, and we condemned to stay forever in that one particular moment.

Whether we appreciate it or not, the concept of time prevents us from such a standstill. Therefore, we continuously develop due to our actions and provoked reactions. What we do today, changes the tomorrow, and eventually, this leads to a transformation.

As things change, we need space for these innovations. However, too often, the old turns out to be too small for the newly formed demands. Hence, they slip away from us over time and slowly dissolve until they seem to provide no more significance.

Over time, these ruins accumulate and pave the way for everybody’s past. Though it was their peak that led to the transformation, it is easy to forget that they once took center stage before the better present.

I always like to feature classic Aussie pubs, many are totally iconic with our climate, history and lifestyle. Then there are others, like houses that for a time probably in the 60's to '80's period that underwent certain rebuilding that was not restoration as such and certainly not in style with the original architecture and fabric of the building.

This one, in the small Atherton Tableland town of Tolga is an example of how the best of intentions can go awry, especially over time. I note that it is what I call an equal opportunity pub too, advertising and selling both major mainstream brands of beer, the home grown XXXX (Fourex) from Brisbane and Great Northern which had its roots in Cairns in 1927 but is now owned and brewed by Carlton United in Yatala south of Brisbane.

Without being disparaging to the owners and modernisation, I do note those modern sliding and casement windows that were typically installed during the period I mentioned and some probable upgrading to the weatherboards. You can't really knock the use of solar panels these days but they do sort of cramp the style of the old corrugated iron roof. The pretty horrible besser block addition on the left is also typical of upgrades of the period. You can just see some of the fabric of the original verandah architecture with those doors on the first floor leading no doubt to what would have been and maybe still are bedrooms. Reversing all of this in a sensitive restoration would no doubt be an extremely expensive job. Note the rather temporary high visibility "gate" on the drive in, or drive through ("thru") bottle shop on the right.

Nevertheless, the place looks clean and smart, befitting this small rural and agricultural town. The pub no doubt caters more to locals than tourists in this particular location.

Whatever my personal tastes, a few small businesses in town are making a real go of it in a tough climate, we had a lovely coffee in a small cafe across the road that was really designed for locals. As is the pub of course.

A wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends finished off by a marvelous double rainbow on the way home. “In Chinese culture

Double rainbows carry profound meaning in eastern cultures, symbolizing transformation, according to the website Basic Feng Shui. The material world is represented by the first arc, while the second arc is the spiritual realm. The were so many people pulled over to the side of the freeway taking photos!

Here's hoping your Thanksgiving was terrific!

Khareef in Salalah is nature’s dramatic transformation—where desert turns into rainforest, and misty magic fills the air. It’s Oman’s monsoon miracle, and it’s breathtaking.

During Khareef season, from late June to early September, Salalah becomes a lush, emerald paradise unlike anywhere else in the Arabian Peninsula.

The Moonee Ponds Creek between Strathmore and Pascoe Vale, Victoria

This is a story of the slow transformation of one of Melbourne's waterways, the Moonee Ponds Creek in the northern suburbs.

Much of the creek was concreted during the construction of the Tullamarine Freeway in the 1960s and simply became a large and pretty ugly drain, a far cry from the lovely preexisting natural environment.

Pressure from the local community over a number oif years led to Melbourne Water working with the community to restore a part of the creek to a more natural environment over the last 18 months and this photo shows the interface between the old and the new.

My local Rotary club (to which I belong) organised an Australia Day walk along the creek to showcase this and we were truly amazed at the transformation!

In a period with not a lot of good news around, it is relatively small things like this which restore some sense of hope.

First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.

For most of the year, the ocotillo looks like a pile of dead sticks. But when the plant flowers, the desert brightens considerably. Seen in Saguaro National Park.
