While Royal Swedish Air Force Tp79s (C-47s) were occasionally seen at Riem during the 1970s, this was the only Tp84 (C-130H) to visit the airport in that decade (at least I have no other reports).
Delivered in 1975 and stored in the UK (Marshall at Cambridge) since June 2014.
For a number of years two Swedish Air Force Lockheed C-130H (Tp84) aircraft, 84001 and 84003, have been stored at Cambridge, occasionally providing spare parts for the remaining six SAF Tp84 aircraft, serviced there by Marshall ADG. On July 3, 2022, 84001 and 84003 have finally left Cambridge by road to catch a boat home to Sweden, where the former will become a museum exhibit and the latter a ground trainer. They will be reassembled with their wings and tail fins travelling separately. (Source: youtube)

84001 was the first of eventually eight Hercules aircraft acquired by the Swedish Air Force. Delivered in 1964 as a C-130E, it was converted to an -H model in 1987, to bring up the fleet to an identical standard.
Designated as Tp84 in Flygvapnet service, it was coded 841, and captured taxiing after landing at Jönköping upon a visit, still in the original high-visibility colour scheme. At that time it was based at Såtenäs with the F7 (Skaraborgs flygflottilj) and operated by 71 Transportflygdivisionen, part of F7.
84001 served with the Flygvapnet for almost 50 years, during which it carried several colour schemes. Included is a stint with the Swedish Red Cross as SE-XBT during the Biafra war in 1968. It was finally struck off charge in 2014, with the forward fuselaege now on display at the Aeroseum museum in Göteborg.

Low Level Navigation above southern part of Sweden. Built in 1975 as first C-130H in the Swedish Air Force. 843 is now put in storage in England.
