While Royal Swedish Air Force Tp79s (C-47s) were occasionally seen at Riem during the 1970s, this was the only Tp84 (C-130H) to visit the airport in that decade (at least I have no other reports).

 

Delivered in 1975 and stored in the UK (Marshall at Cambridge) since June 2014.

 

For a number of years two Swedish Air Force Lockheed C-130H (Tp84) aircraft, 84001 and 84003, have been stored at Cambridge, occasionally providing spare parts for the remaining six SAF Tp84 aircraft, serviced there by Marshall ADG. On July 3, 2022, 84001 and 84003 have finally left Cambridge by road to catch a boat home to Sweden, where the former will become a museum exhibit and the latter a ground trainer. They will be reassembled with their wings and tail fins travelling separately. (Source: youtube)
