I captured this lunar eclipse as it is happening now... fresh out of my camera.
This is the last total lunar eclipse till 2014. Indirect sunlight has caused this dramatic cast over the moon.
This is the second total lunar eclipse this year, the first one occured in June but I could not capture that due to unclear skies. Today, I just got lucky.
Another big one scratched off of my bucket list.
This solar eclipse is something that cannot be described, it must be witnessed.
I took a couple hundred bracketed photos along with GoPro video at totality.
What an amazing experience.

I had one flash head directly behind this flower... to blow out the back...
the bottom half was in water... This shot is all passion...

So this was the year I decided to just go all out.......TOTALLY commit to my Christmas Cat themed Christmas, right down to the outfit I decided to put on Christmas afternoon.
On a normal year I might have slipped the socks under a pair of pants ,or maybe worn the crazy leggings with a solid color top if I was going to a friends house that knew me, or maybe just the sweater (which lights up!) with a pair of jeans........but I thought this was a year to make a fashion statement in the privacy of my own home that truly embraces who I really am!

Another shot of a baby Rocky Mountain Goat practicing his climbing skills on Mt Evans from our trip last July.
I'm looking forward to watching these guys jumping around on the rocks again this coming summer.

Moored alongside the south pier at Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg, two German Navy Braunschweig class corvettes, being fitted out before sea trials.
On the left F267 Karlsruhe, eighth in class, and F266 Emden, seventh in class, from a total of ten.
The large black ship inside the basin is the Osteriff, which is a hopper-dredger used for keeping waterways / rivers free from the accumulation of silt and sediment.
