I love the way this thing looks and sounds.

It's all about the color.

World of Top Gear at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, is a unique exhibition of vehicles from every era of the hit television show. The TGV12 was motoring journalist Jeremy Clarkson’s car-based train that was featured in Series 17. It was made from a Jaguar XJS.

‘XJ12 596’ is the actual TGV12 ‘sports train’ driven by Clarkson during Top Gear’s valiant attempt to reduce the cost of railway travel using innovative car-based rolling stock. The ‘locomotive’ is little more than an old Jaguar convertible with some different wheels on it.

These Top Gear Vehicles have now been scrapped.

Gave Macau a break for 2015 so hear is a shot from 2014. Yeah, needed to have some motion in the shot!

Complete with big screen to watch the episode in question and Hamster's VW camper-boat.

Maybe letting Percy read Top Gear is a bad idea; I don't trust the girl on a bicycle.

If only the P1 could be driven in Hong Kong....

James Daniel May is an English television presenter, author and journalist. He is best known as a co-presenter, alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, of the motoring programme Top Gear from 2003 until 2015 and the television series The Grand Tour for Amazon Prime Video from 2016 to 2024.

James Daniel May, born January 16, 1963 in Bristol, England

May is unmarried and lives with his partner Sarah Frater, a journalist, in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. He is known for his car and watch collection, which includes particularly older and luxurious pieces. May currently owns six cars, including Porsches and Ferraris, 42 motorcycles and an airplane. He was the host of the television show Top Gear alongside Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson until 2015 and has hosted the show The Grand Tour on the US streaming service Amazon Video with them since 2016. May also designed and hosted other programmes in the fields of technology, science, toys and wine, for example James May: The Reassembler. James May has two sisters and a brother. He was educated at Caerleon Endowed Junior School in Wales and spent his youth in South Yorkshire, where he attended Oakwood Comprehensive School in Rotherham and sang in the choir of Whiston Parish Church. He spent his school years with the current actor Dean Andrews. May later studied music at Lancaster University and worked as a clerk in a hospital shortly after graduating from high school. May won the Television and Radio Industries Club Award three times (2008, 2009, 2011) in the category Best Entertainment Program for Top Gear. Also three times the TV Quick Award (2008, 2009, 2012) for the show. Top Gear won four times at the National Television Awards. May has been awarded an Emmy and BAFTA Award. James May holds an honorary doctorate from Lancaster University. LINK - www.ansichtskartenversand-lebbe.de/artikel.php?id=9674&am...

James Daniel May is a well-known English journalist and TV presenter. He was born in Bristol on 16 January 1963. James' popularity, of course, came after the Top Gear show, in which he participates as a host. An interesting fact is that in the Top Gear show, due to his overly careful driving style, James May received the nickname "Captain Slow". But, in any case, even this driving style could not prevent him from accelerating the Bugatti Veyron to 407 km/h. And in a Toyota Hilux, he, along with a large support team from Iceland and Jeremy Clarkson, became the first people to reach the magnetic north pole.

Early morning car photography, before sunrise.

This is the last picture from the small Top Gear series of the indestructible car.

To make it look a bit more realistic, I've made a slightly slammed version of the cab and ripped off one of the mudguards. In the meantime the car is whole and red again, one of the advantages of Lego.

That digger is the 42121 Technic kit, of which I've shown a small detail a while ago. I've slightly changed the innards of the cab to fit a minifigure. That's one of the things I really fail to understand about Lego - why are things in minifigure scale, but without room for any?

This scene is after the demolition of the tower block, on a pile of rubble, when it's dug out by the excavator.

Toy Project Day 2369

The Hai Van pass is an amazing coastal road in central Vietnam, and was features in the Top Gear Vietnam special. We rented bikes for the day and drove the pass, both ways.

If you look closer, you'll see the pass cut into the mountain in the back.

BF Bifta from GTA V recreated in Blender, rendered in Keyshot and edited in Lightroom.

I have many, many photos of this car... and hope to take many, many more.

Among the many and varied vehicles to have appeared in the Top Gear television show over the years is this 1975-registered 6750 cc Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow LYU 366P which is on display at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu.

My favourite part of the show, setting fire to the car! To Valhalla!

Toy Project Day 2368

Some of the 48 hairpin turns near the top of the northern ramp of the Stelvio Pass. As the guys from Top Gear would say: This is probably the best stretch of tarmac continental Europe has to offer. YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il6KAhfljCY

These seem to be rather rare based on comments I've seen elsewhere.

Second 991 GT3RS I've seen in a week that looks like this.

Really like those misty winter mornings.

May not be classic, but it is one of the most beautiful cars of all time.

About as far from normal as you can get for Hong Kong car photography.

You don't have to go far from home to find a super car these days :)

The Toyota Hilux has long been one of the best selling pickup trucks in Australia and globally. A reputation for being unbreakable, the key selling point.

Australia is a tough country, and Toyota has dominated rural markets with the Hilux and other rough-terrain vehicles.

The gents (foolish gents) at the BBC TopGear team thought they would see what it would take to actually kill a Toyota Hilux, with some astounding results.

Note, this was way back in Season 3, so you might not recognise them....
