Ulm Münster (literally: minster) is a Lutheran church that is sometimes referred to as Ulm Cathedral because of its great size, although the church is not a cathedral as it has never been the seat of a bishop. It is the tallest church in the world, with a steeple measuring 161.5 metres (530 ft) containing 768 steps and yeah..I climbed all of those to get this picture taken in the spire of the cathedral. In 1377 the foundation stone was laid in the Gothic era, but it was not completed until the 19th century.
