It's not often you get to return a favor, even if over four years have gone by. When I was really new to SL, this guy encouraged my new-found interest in photography. He left SL and when he returned, he discovered the beast he had left behind. When he asked me to take his profile picture, I was honored to help him out.

This is another shot of my old friend Tommy Vollmar from a shoot the other day. The "Purple Rain" pic was for him, this shot was more for me and my artistic sensibilities.

It's not the best ever, but it is a thing.

When Elara awoke, the book was gone. But she smiled, for she knew the secret. She didn't need to read the book with her eyes—she had already read it with her heart. And though the villagers never understood, Elara carried the wisdom of The Silent Tome with her always, sharing its quiet lessons through kindness, compassion, and a love for the mysteries that could never be fully known.
