"- I'll never call golf a dull game again. "

A scene from the 1990 live action movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I watched this movie countless times as a kid, and it remains one of my all-time favourite movies. For what you would think was a kids-movie, it's actually pretty dark, but it also has a good dose of humor.

Casey Jones finally makes an appearance in my series! Yeah, I had to include a scene with him. Not the most exciting build today, but I felt that the scene where he rescues Splinter and kicks the crap out of Tatsu with a golf club is kind of vital to the plot of the movie, so I chose to include it. The most exciting part of this build is probably the golf bag I built which I'm actually quite happy with the look of. So, naturally it's hardly even visible in the photo, just like it's hardly visible in the movie... Ah well, time wasted building that I guess...

This is the fifth scene that I wanted to build for a contest in my LUG where we were tasked to build a set of scenes from a movie or TV series, but I didn't actually have this one built in time, I just buit it yesterday in fact :P

Just one more scene left now!

Sunset pose at Untermyer Park.

I finally got around to taking some good photos of the display diorama that I built for my TMNT Brickheadz for conventions. Each character stands on a modular 8x16 vignette. The turtles, Splinter, and April are shown in the turtles' sewer lair while the villains are standing on the streets of NYC above.

A rare new figure for my OWN collection! Every single last piece is made from scratch, so I'm glad to keeping hold of this one ; )

Was was watching the new TMNT cartoon with my daughter and this character caught my eye. It's not absolutely 100% faithful to the character, but very near enough (I liked the goalie blocker better without the spikes).

In case you're getting deju vu, I tried to upload this a little while ago, but I royally screwed up the edit, so had to upload again ; )

"- It talks!

- It is really quite simple, Miss O'Neil.

- And it knows my name... perfect.

- Why don't I ever dream of Harrison Ford? "

This scene depicts the Turtles' lair in the sewers, where Raphael brought April O'Neil after rescuing her from attacking foot clan members. All the furniture they have down there looks like it's been salvaged from stuff that's been thrown out (especially a very beat-up couch), and I tried to replicate that somehow in my build.

This is the second of the series of scenes I built for a contest in my LUG where we were tasked to build a set of scenes from a movie or TV series.

Finally having all the four LEGO TURTLES together, took me some time and nerves. The are not yet available in Germany and i had to bricklink a lot. When Donatello arrived the seller had put the wrong legs on him. Instead of bright green, he had the normal green legs from one of the other characters. Not too bad ´cause he is driving the van anyway ;) I was not sure if i would have enough new olive green parts after purchasing 79104 The Shellraiser Street Chase from a czech bricklink store and 70006 Cragger’s Command Ship, but as you can see it turned out fine. The interior is accessible through the detachable roof. All characters fit in there togehter with a good box supply of pizza. The opening door mechanism works just perfect after some trial and error testings. The stickers were hard to get since there is no good decal scan to find anywhere. But Photoshop is always a good help with that. All in all this is a model that was waiting on my wishlist for a long time and i´m really happy with the outcome and even more happy with the olive green. The normal green would have looked ugly. Nice that TLG sometimes gets a good amount of new elements into a new color lineup. COWABUNGA!

Sometimes it's very hard to forgive someone. Just ask my friend, Shetsu the Ninja Turtle.

When I started this I had no intention of making a hardsuit for ninja turtles. I really like this frame and it has a nice samurai appearance. Also it has a much better articulation than most of my previous frames. And it just cried out "turtle power!". I was lazy enough not to make other turtles, but I see some possibilities for modding and improvement. I hope to make more TMNT projects or at least finish some of my old WIPs.

Pictured here; Raphael, Donatello, Michalengelo, Leonardo, Master Splinter, and Shetsu.
