In another section of Laserdome, Shetsu gets carried away with some "frlendly fire" and tags Donatello.
I started out wanting to draw Shetsu-san in the "Eastman/Laird" style. But then I thought of somethimg even more cool; why not all three at once?
xD -feel free to tag!

From this angle, most of what you see is finished. I still have to detail the interiors of the white and the tan buildings, and finish off the underground behind the Turtle's lair, but that isn't visible from this side. This project evolved from a couple TMNT sets, and took on a life of its own, and has brought back a lot of memories of TMNT from when I was a kid. I still haven't caught any episodes from the current series, but I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm going to set this project aside for a bit and finish my painting wip and then work on Spirit of Memphis some more.

"- I'll never call golf a dull game again. "
A scene from the 1990 live action movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I watched this movie countless times as a kid, and it remains one of my all-time favourite movies. For what you would think was a kids-movie, it's actually pretty dark, but it also has a good dose of humor.
Casey Jones finally makes an appearance in my series! Yeah, I had to include a scene with him. Not the most exciting build today, but I felt that the scene where he rescues Splinter and kicks the crap out of Tatsu with a golf club is kind of vital to the plot of the movie, so I chose to include it. The most exciting part of this build is probably the golf bag I built which I'm actually quite happy with the look of. So, naturally it's hardly even visible in the photo, just like it's hardly visible in the movie... Ah well, time wasted building that I guess...
This is the fifth scene that I wanted to build for a contest in my LUG where we were tasked to build a set of scenes from a movie or TV series, but I didn't actually have this one built in time, I just buit it yesterday in fact :P
Just one more scene left now!
I finally got around to taking some good photos of the display diorama that I built for my TMNT Brickheadz for conventions. Each character stands on a modular 8x16 vignette. The turtles, Splinter, and April are shown in the turtles' sewer lair while the villains are standing on the streets of NYC above.
