Yashica TL-Super with Auto Yashinon 50/2. M42 mount. Mine is a V2 as it does not have the film door lock lever on the bottom. Nice clean example, the film and battery compartments were spotless. I put a battery in it and ran a roll of (free, expired) film through it yesterday. The meter works! I guess I will see how accurate it is.
My newly acquired Pentacon Six TL 6x6 SLR. Miles ahead of the Kiev-60 in build quality and overall feel, the only weak point of this magnificent camera is the relatively dim viewfinder which makes focusing a bit cumbersome in low light. Other than that, I haven't felt such a tactile pleasure handling a camera since using my first Spotmatic years ago.

This one lasted surprisingly well for a relatively unloved model that was prone to rust. I certainly don't recall these being a regular sight beyond the early '90s, but this one made it to '98.
Not sure what the car in the far left of the picture is - a Mk1 Granada or 70's Celica going from the bumper?

This camera can't hide its descent: it's a Cosina Hi-Lite, or at least based on one, though the appearance of the shutter button and the film advance lever is different. Furthermore it has a hotshoe and uncommonly the shoulder with the rewind crank is higher.

This copy is not working anymore. A transmission lever in the bottom was just torn out of his mount. So, from the inside the camera isn't looking as tough as from the outside.

I wanted to represent a typical french vintage car of the 70's : Renault 4 L. It's so easy to find one in the french countryside. Where I live, a lot of people had 2, one for driving and one for spare parts. But nowadays, a lot of them got old and they park behind the house, and have been replace by a renault "express" or a citroën "c15". It's the car of my childhood, so it was a great time for me to sketch this Renault 4 TL Savane in the garden of Mr Sobkowiack, at Génolhac (Gard) in France.

J'ai réalisé ce croquis dans le cadre de l'échange de croquis n°2 organisé par Kip Bradley (Urban Sketcher)
J'ai voulu représenter une vieille voiture des années 70, la 4L. Rien de plus facile que d'en trouver une dans les campagnes françaises. Là où j'habite, beaucoup de gens en avaient 2, une pour rouler et l'autre pour les pièces détachées. Mais de nos jours, un grand nombre d'entre elles ont vieilli et sont garées derrière les maisons, remplacées par une renault express ou un citroën c15. C'est la voiture de mon enfance, cela a donc été un grand moment pour moi de dessiner cette Renault 4 TL Savane garée dans le jardin de Mr Sobkowiac à Génolhac (Gard).
