Times Square is a major commercial intersection at the junction of Broadway (now converted into a pedestrian plaza) and Seventh Avenue and stretching from West 42nd to West 47th Streets. Times Square – iconified as "The Crossroads of the World", "The Center of the Universe", and the "The Great White Way" – is the brightly illuminated hub of the Broadway Theater District, one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections, and a major center of the world's entertainment industry.
According to Travel + Leisure magazine's October 2011 survey, Times Square is the world's most visited tourist attraction, hosting over 39 million visitors annually.

Midnight Moment: Fischli Weiss, Büsi (Kitty)
February 1, 2016 - February 29, 2016
every night from 11:57pm-midnight
Peter Fischli and David Weiss rescreen their famous video, Büsi (Kitty) (2001), in which a cat languidly laps milk, coolly observing us from above on Times Square’s electronic billboards. Büsi is a brief video by Peter Fischli and David Weiss, originally commissioned in 2001 by Creative Time as part of The 59th Minute project on the NBC Astrovision screen in Times Square. Fifteen years later, this cat again observes the bustle of all that surrounds it with cool detachment, lounging in the heart of our metropolis. The film is a short excerpt from Fischli and Weiss’ 96-hour video installation Untitled (Venice Work) (1995).
This month’s project is in conjunction with the retrospective Peter Fischli David Weiss: How to Work Better, on view at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum from February 5-April 27.

Midnight Moment: A Digital Gallery is the largest coordinated effort in history by the sign operators in Times Square to display synchronized, cutting-edge creative content at the same time every day.
A view from MTV Networks cafeteria -they have some spots to eat outside overlooking Times Square. TRL is going on and people are shouting and yelling....the outside of the group can be seen in front of that Foot Locker. I was visiting my friend who works there, Crystal.
Decided to go to Medieval Times as a birthday gift for a friend.
This year cheering for the Yellow knight but sadly doesn't "win".
Also like previously I was in a section behind the safety net so it hindered a lot of shots :(
Located in New York City's Broadway Theater District, Times Square is one of the most visited tourist attraction in the world.
The former envelope and printing factory of George Waterstone & Sons lies quiet and awaiting a new purpose. The company was originally founded in 1752 and this factory was built in 1902. The company expanded into making continuous stationery for typists and latterly for computer printers. Production of the original product of sealing wax moved to the former chocolate factory in Beaverhall Road, before eventually being sold to Montgomery Litho in Edinburgh. Sadly, George Waterstone (Security Printers) Ltd. went into receivership in 2004 after more than 250 years of family ownership.

Leaping for Leap Year in Times Square! Inspired by FlickrLeap 2012 on Leap Year Day! Katie makes it look easy!
At precisely 8AM in California which is also 15:00 UTC/GMT photographers all over the world grabbed their cameras and took a picture to be part of the New York Times' Moment In Time. The NY Times is making a global photo mosaic online from 14,000 pictures from around the world. With just one photo allowed, choosing was difficult. I had also photographed an empty Fourth Street but the picture I chose was of the Saint Raphael Church in San Rafael, California. It is one of the Catholic missions in California.
