So this is the first of the images from Porth Nanven, and was actually the last one I took.
In recent months I haven't been that convinced about my focussing with the Ebony, and had resolved to rectify that last week. As it turned out, my problem before was simply that I wasn't stopping down enough - Tim Parkin will tell you about depth of field on a 5x4... precious little is the answer.
Anyhow, this was a little spikey and yet it's all in... hurray!
The scan is a bit better too than my previous efforts.
So I'm out and about on a chilly Tuesday morning, and I run into this guy who's just having too much fun. Well, not really. He's homeless and was hungry, but he has a great attitude just the same. Having worked for several years as a healthcare provider in the homeless community, I kinda have a weak spot for these folks. But ya know, a late morning snack and some pleasant conversation can go a long way in making anyone's day a little bit better.

The International Space Station passes to the south of the UK on December 20th with Tim Peake on board. This was the first visible pass due to cloud cover.

Talking of trees, what do you think our chances are of having a tree up with a rambunctious pup who will be 7 months old by then?!!
Like most people probably, when I am traveling in France time is an element of everything I see. Mostly I notice how old and beautiful the buildings can be. On this day I was drawn to the clock that is part of the facade of this church in Bordeaux, a literal depiction of time on a building that makes me think about time.
Hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel Noir 55981, Bistre, and Red ochre inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints and 2 A/P prints.

Tim is BJD chihuahua (5cm) by ElleoDolls and he arrived in January. Wow, he is amazing! ♥ I like to take him in my hands and I really love his mobility! I love his color! He looks perfect!
I went to see Eliza Carthy and Tim Eriksen tonight at the Live Room, a regular music night at the Caroline Social Club, Saltaire.
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with folk music, but there's something about Eliza Carthy that just draws me in. Not only is she a fantastic musician (which you'd expect given her parentage) but she's very sensual and knows how to involve the audience in the music.
