Amboseli, Kenya
This was our first sighting of the late Tim, when we visited Amboseli last November. Such a shame that we won't be able to see him again, but let's hope that Craig can take over his enduring appeal.
My sincere thanks to all who take the time to comment or add my images to their Favourites.

From a food shoot at Dr Tim's, the other Masterchef 2010 finalist and now pro-cake-maker extraordinaire.
I and the rest of my magazine's workforce can testify that they're completely delicious. Order your own box now!
WOW! This is Tim. He was walking, on a leash, in front of the medical clinic when I spied him.
This is not a case of he-looks-big-because-he-is-closer-to-the-camera-than-his-person! At just 2 years of age he is HUGE!
I was soooo taken with this boy. He was very friendly allowing me to pet him on his head, rub his feet and scratch him under the chin.
While Tim's tummy is greyish the rest of him was as black as his face.
This is Tim, a mechanical ostrich that jumps. He's a proud member of my domestic fauna.
Éste es Timoteo, un avestruz mecánico que funciona a cuerda y da saltitos. Es un honorable miembro de mi bestiario doméstico ;-)
Long weekend is good reason to go out and take some seascape shots or better to say to discover Turimetta on my own. However I met my good friend Tim who is a person who also loves seascape shooting (please visit his stream ) We met at the car park in pitch black so after I cried on his shoulder that I don't know Turimetta very well he decided to show me this place as best he knows.
Of course I left my wet shoes at home so having wet feet was nothing new for me but the weather was so good for "not" taking photos, no clouds and I forgot my cellophane but I will post few of them which are deserving your attention....
Here is Tim in action...

Oman - East of Muscat. 'Tim' - a tiny turtle hatched the evening before became confused and repeatedly headed away from the water. He was gladly rescued by hotel staff. The little chap was kept safe and released to the sea in the evening - along with other newly hatched turtles! Hopefully none the worst for ware.

Tim, you make Flickr such a great community. Your dedication to art and to making the groups you administer the best they can be is inspiring. Thank you so much for all you do.
I tried creating an image like one of yours, but I'm afraid it's just a hot mess. It's a LOT harder than you make it seem...the sign of a great artist!
My apologies to my brother, Tom, who took this picture. The hot mess is all my own doing.

Tim's big catch. On the Ottawa River at the Rideau Locks in the shadow of the Parliament Buildings. Tim said that is is a Walleye. He released it back into the river after the photos were taken.
Good news - Tim's treatment has finished! We were shown his first and last PET scans and it was clear the huge area of lymphoma attached the his liver and spleen had reduced to a dot in the second one. He and the doctor mutually decided that as the extra treatment hasn't been proven to make any difference he won't bother. He will have another PET scan in a couple of months to make sure everything is still okay. Woo hoo!!!

My mate Tim said his parents were moving house. So I jumped to the oppotunity and took the pic.
