This is not us, just our kids, if I looked that good, and my husband was that old. Sorry I can't post my picture on the net.
This reproduction of the Frank Lloyd Wright Sumac vase was originally produced by Teco Potteries. The original was approximately 4 feet tall, so this half-size reproduction by Haeger Potteries is still might big.
Wish all flickr friends a great Wednesday!
Wünsche meinen flickr Freunden einen wunderschönen Mittwoch!

This looks like a small station, east of Turpan (Daheyan) station. Note the morning light, and the crowd in the distance.

This goes back to 2020 - out our way to Flowood, Mississippi. Got this pix in Louisville, Mississippi.
This project had several goals and sources of inspiration. I wanted to fill a section of my bookshelf by making a neo-Gothic building with an imposing central tower and two wings that stretched forward from either side to form a courtyard in the middle. I also wanted to showcase my Elvish minifigures and Harry Potter-style roof elements.
This is not one of the squirrels I rehabbed. This is a wild squirrel who came in the window from the fire escape. I hadn't put out enough food for her, so she decided to just come into the apartment and get some herself.
This picture shows the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and 82nd street in Queens. This is where the train commuters get off of the 7 train 82nd street station stop. With that being said, this area can be very safe during the hustle and bustle of the commercial daylight hours. However, as I usually get home from work at very late hours of the night, getting off at this station alway makes me feel uneasy reason being there are many bars which equates to many drunkards out and about. Also, at night these streets turn into virtually no man's land. I can attest to speed walking down this area at late night hours. I think many people living in this area will feel similarly.
this picture was taken while he is standing on his crib at the front of our window when I noticed the soft light bounces to his face and I was happy with the result. this is a non_HDR, only adjust with the curve and contrast and a littlebit manipulation in the eye.
Okay, this is part of the story of rebuilding society so, here goes nothing...
"Alright, you've probably at least heard about a type of rouge "Chicken Walker" by now. The good news is, if you can see this, it means you are still alive. The bad news is, well, pretty much everything else. If you have been feeling depressed lately, it is highly advised that you do not continue watching the program. Alright, so you probably have been wondering where the he** this beast came from. Stay tuned to find out. Just kidding, here you go. Several companies had been experimenting with self-controlled mechanical walkers. They were pretty much built the same way as human controlled, except these were controlled by an extremely high tech artificial "brain" that was designed to assess risks and act accordingly. During a test, the "brain" assessed that its creators were risks to it, and killed them all. Then it escaped. It was actually a police officer Dan Higgins that first came across it. He radioed in when he saw it moving towards him. As it moved closer, he pulled out a 9mm pistol on it, but stayed on the radio. The "brain" immediately assessed "risk" and blew him to bits with one of its six “smart" (automatically controlled, also called Fire and Forget) missiles. The radio was still on, but the officer was surely dead. The local police station immediately new it had a huge problem on their hand, one that they were by no means capable dealing with and immediately requested military assistance. Two Humvee jeeps were immediately dispatched, but both were quickly eliminated with its 37.64x12mm cannon. From there on, the "brain" considered all humans as a risk, and now kills everybody on sight. This concludes our, very solemn newscast for tonight. Our thought and prayers to everybody out there with dead our injured loved ones.

This photograph was taken at a favorite restaurant retreat (the Beach House Restaurant), on Anna Maria Island, Florida. No better place to relax! The photograph was digitally painted to look like a watercolor painting.
This is something I've been wanting to do for quite some time and as my job finally ratified a new union contract and we get some substantial money back, I decided this would be my spoil.
These are the Leotek IL6 P3, all with clear lenses and they came from a distributor in Northern California.
