These are shadows on a sheer curtain. The lines are from window blinds. I laid on the floor and took the photo looking up.
These are my favorite hawk like birds. This one had some leftover fish fragments from dinner stuck on its tooth, I mean beak.
These 3 whitetail fawns were quite entertaining. They frequently get playful when at the trough. There is always an alpha among them, generally a buck. Looking forward to this year's crop of these little darlings. I'll post more shots of them at play in the future.
Wish my shutter speed had been a bit higher......
May your Tuesday have some fun in it.
These are mini bottles, each 2,5 cm in diameter, glued together, for tiny flowers like daisies. The different colors of the little bottles seemed to be a good start for this week's macro theme. Some light added a bit atmosphere.
HMM to all participants 💙💙💙
These guys sing later in the season than most other male songbirds. Listen near wet thickets for "Fire! Fire! Where? Where? Here! Here! Put it out! Put it out!
These are among my favourite birds, inquisitive, interesting and so expressive, they are such a joy to photograph and watch in the north! Only the smartest birds can survive in such conditions, and the Canada Jay is certainly among the most intelligent.
These amazing gowns by Belle Epoque can be found at this round of the Arcade. The gowns are super beautiful and I love that all the various pieces can be worn as separates with really any outfit of your choice. They can be dressed up for fantasy attire and still be worn as day wear. Such talent surrounds us.....

After a long day hiking with friends, we wrapped it up at Gold Creek Pond. The sun had just set and the fog was building up. We were suprised to see so much untouched snow in such a popular area, but we ended that soon! Took a bunch of cool selfies and then messed around with these holes.

These are the first crocuses in my garden that opened up. they are under a tree and often in the shade. So when I saw that the sun was shining right on them, I rushed outside to take this photo.
Just now, I was looking for a good title for my photo and thought of 'catching sunrays'. I checked it and learned from the Urban Dictionary that 'to catch some rays' means 'to sunbathe'. Well, that is just what these crocuses seemed to be doing!
You want commitment
Take a look into these eyes
They burn with fire
Until the end of time
And I would do anything
I'd beg, I'd steal, I'd die
To have you in these arms tonight
Baby, I want you
Like the roses want the rain
You know I need you
Like a poet needs the pain
And I would give anything
My blood, my love, my life
If you were in these arms tonight
I'd hold you
I'd need you
I'd get down on my knees for you
And make everything alright
If you were in these arms
I'd love you
I'd please you
I'd tell you that I'd never leave you
And love you 'til the end of time
If you were in these arms tonight
We stared at the sun
And we made a promise
A promise this world
Would never blind us
And these were our words
Our words were our songs
Our songs are our prayers
These prayers keep me strong
And I still believe
If you were in these arms
I'd hold you
I'd need you
I'd get down on my knees for you
And make everything alright
If you were in these arms
I'd love you
I'd please you
I'd tell you that I'd never leave you
And love you 'til the end of time
If you were in these arms tonight
Your clothes are still scattered all over our room
This whole place still smells like your cheap perfume
Everything here reminds me of you
And there's nothing I wouldn't do
And these were our words
They keep me strong, baby
I'd hold you
I'd need you
I'd get down on my knees for you
And make everything alright
If you were in these arms
I'd love you
I'd please you
I'd tell you that I'd never leave you
And love you 'til the end of time
If you were in these arms tonight
If you were in these arms tonight
If you were in these arms tonight
If you were in these arms, baby
Like the roses need the rain
Like the seasons need to change
Like a poet needs the pain
I need you in these arms tonight
These white-tailed deer are enjoying a balmy evening here at Lake Meyer Park as the temperature hovers around 0 F/-18 C. Without any wind to deal with it almost felt warm for a change!

These transients are hard to coax into the open. His close cousin, the Saltmarsh Sparrow is on my target list for this fall.
These trees seems to cry for help, probably any help will be too late 😢

These two youngsters were probably hatched in early February this year. Their nest is on a broad, horizontal branch in a large live oak. The parents watch them from surrounding trees and bring them food to snack on.
These grow wild on the banks of the Santa Cruz River, as seen on the Anza Trail near Tubac, Arizona
Many thanks to everyone that views and comments on my images it's very much appreciated.
Another one from the archives, of a night when I was the first and only person to get around Nash Point on a dropping tide. the freshly exposed rock layers were still glistening from the tide as the setting sun coloured up the cliffs and clouds. I can't wait to experience these special moments the world can give us again. Times Like These is by Foo Fighters and I think I'll have a go at singing it today after my breakfast disco :))) Perhaps I;l get the children next door who sit on the wall and keep me company to join in on the chorus ;)))
These 2 does are sisters that we have been lucky enough to be around since there were fawns. They are always together and are always cleaning each other as well:) We are also lucky to live among them and have come to know many of them by sight and personality. All of the other people around us do not allow hunters on their property either. So this is their safe place from humans. They still have to deal with the bears, cougars, wolves and coyotes which is just nature.
These last remnants of a long gone northern Illinois farm are poised to be swallowed up by nature soon....
Love days like these where fog engulfs the entire docklands area and you are left with a misty fog all around. Light bounces in unusual ways and you get to see colours and highlights such as these.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

These flower look like wings of nature in our parks, streets and gardens. Thanks for visit and have a great day everyone, stay out of the sun or be at a shadowed location, if you know older people it does not cost much to check on them on days like yesterday or today to make sure they are fine.

… These beautiful white teeth belong to my friend the Philippine croc (Crocodylus mindorensis), who likes to keep an eye on things in his corner of the Reptiles Pavilion without attracting unwanted attention.
These impressive falls can be seen from the overlook (where I took this photo) or from the end of the gorge trail at the bottom (www.flickr.com/photos/aleadam/22333698393/)
According to my wife, this photo has the shape of a heart. Go figure that...
