Thanks to Donna, Mike, Lynne and the team from the Torthorwald Community Group (TGA) for organising such a brilliant Afternoon Tea in the village hall on 17 June 2018.
Thanks also to Jean Wilson and the "community helpers" both young and old(er) for all the baking etc and for lending a hand on the day.
Funds raised will be used by the TCG to improve the children's play area in the village.
With everyone's help they are getting nearer their target.
Well done everyone!

Oliver Jessel. Oliver was the first of three generations of Jessel's at Wellesley House.
James Birley left with a Winchester scholarship in 1941, then Oxford, and then to St Thomas's Hospital, London. He became interested in psychiatry whilst working in the army and went onto having a distinguished medical career. He was elected Dean of the Institute of Psychiatry 1971-82; Dean of the College 1982-87; President 1987-90. He retired from clinical work on 1st January 1991. He was elected President of the British Medical Association for 1993-1994.
Finnart on the south side of the Loch, was leased from Col Wentworth's Dall estate as a junior school and looked after the 11 junior boys at Finnart Lodge.
Talladha-a-Bheith was the senior school for the top two years.
Rannoch Lodge was the nucleus of the school.
