TCG Gökova (F496), a Gabya-class (or G-class) frigate operated by the Turkish Navy, passing Gourock at the start of Exercise Joint Warrior 19-1. The vessel once served in the US Navy, as the Oilver Hazard Perry-class frigate USS Samuel Eliot Morison (FFG-13).

Barbaros-class frigates are the most modern frigates in the Turkish Navy. TCG Oruçreis (F-245) was launched in 1994 and commissioned in 1997. Speed: 32 knots (gas turbine) 22 knots (diesel only) Range: 4,100 nautical miles (8,000 km) at 18 knots (33 km/h)

TCG GEDIZ is ex USS JOHN A. MOORE FFG-19, a Oliver Hazard Perry class frigate. She was built by Todd Shipyard Corp San Pedro, California.
USS JOHN A. MOORE was commissioned in 1981 and decommissioned in 2000.
She was transferred to Turkish Naval Forces as TCG GEDIZ F 495 on the 1st September 2000.
