Those words on the "roof" of the taxi say "no soy feo", which it can be translated into "I´m not agly".
As the balloon we where in came into land a little boy on a bike raced by. It only occurred to me later when looking at the image and reading the name on the balloon that it looked like he was rushing to catch a rare desert taxi. Or it could have been he just wanted to be first to beg from the basket full of tourists. Who knows? :-)
Taken while sitting eating and drinking outside across the street at Denino`s Pizzeria & Tavern...and very nice it was too.
These coconut-shaped taxis are moped-powered.
