Signage system for three National Monuments in Coimbra, the Old Cathedral, the Monastery of Santa Cruz that is also a Royal National Pantheon, and the New Cathedral of Coimbra.
The verticality of the system is reminiscence of architectural columns, it is also an unobtrusive way of placing all of the critical information on a high position so it can be seen and read at distance.
The suggested scale was chosen as the answer to the need for blending harmoniously with these historic buildings, and yet being assertive in its own right.
