Syringa vulgaris (lilac or common lilac) is native to the Balkan Peninsula, where it grows on rocky hills. This species is widely cultivated as an ornamental and has been naturalized in other parts of Europe as well as much of North America.
Lilacs were introduced into European gardens at the end of the sixteenth century, from Ottoman gardens, not through botanists exploring the Balkan habitats of S. vulgaris.

There is one more image in my comment below.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, comment, and fave my photo.
Syringa (Lilac) is a genus of about 20–25 species of flowering plants in the olive family (Oleaceae), is native to Europe and Asia.
The usual flower colour is a shade of purple (often a light purple or lilac), but white and pale pink are also found. The flowers grow in large panicles, and in several species have a strong fragrance.
I don't talk to flowers, they talk to me and I gladly listen!
This was singing to me about le temps des lilas, Spring and fresh green...?
This is NOT a crop, but a proper new composition.
Lead and enjoy a good life, do and say things that enrich... and do not forget to tell the people close to you, how much you love them!
With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, hope you all have a great time!

Syringa Vulgaris Alba or the Common White Lilac, is a true old-fashioned garden favourite. An extremely hardy deciduous member of the olive family, lilacs first found their way to the UK in the 16th century. Syringa Vulgaris Alba has a vase-shaped upright form, with dark green lance-shaped leaves. In April and May the shrubs are smothered in dense panicles of delicate, pure white blooms with a heavy, sweet scent, which make excellent cut flowers. In autumn the leaves turn shades of burgundy and bronze.
Height and Spread of Syringa Vulgaris Alba
The Common White Lilac shrub will slowly grow to a mature height and spread of 2-3 metres.
Thank you so much for visiting my stream, whether you comments , favorites or just have a look.

044/365 - Day 44 of my 365 Photo Challenge.
Today I could only spend minimal time for my Photo Challenge due to professional requirements. Therefore my dwarf-scented lilac had to be the motif today. Fortunately, we had great weather, and the sun shone with very soft light.
I concentrated on the flowers directly, which I separated from the background with a large aperture.
The soft green in the background and the pink flowers harmonize perfectly.
Also this time I refrained from using a tripod to find the best shooting angle.
Hope you like the image!
