Wiring the switches into position. Note that we are using 3G1.5 cable, so the grounding cable is just cut.
Switch is positioned so that it's on the outside of the canister when mounted. You push it forward to switch the lamp on, and back to switch it off (mounted on right hip).

You have no idea how difficult it is to take a picture of this girl not only with her ears pricked, but without her trademark dog tongue lolling out the side of her mouth. Thus, this darker picture instead of the well-lit pretty images with the stone in the background. Ah well.

CN 8904 and GTW 4622 pulling and pushing a long train of mostly boxcars during a switching job, putting together Train L562, the Brookhaven-Jackson Local on CN's Central Subdivision (Ferguson side) before heading back up north in Brookhaven, Mississippi on a comfortable Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 2:17 p.m. (CST).
GTW 4622 had definitely caught my attention as it looked quite a bit different than the usual GTW EMD GP38-2 so I ran up the street from my house to take a few snapshots of the locomotive. Sure enough, it was different as it's an EMD GP9R which we don't get to see many of those down here. Most of the switchers and locally running locomotives around here are generally EMD GP38-2s. This was definitely a nice little catch for me.

CSX locomotive 7788 waits patiently at the end of the double track near the Hyatts, Ohio crossing. Once an opposing train clears the single track and passes 7788, this train will proceed.
The oncoming train was still far away and called off mile post CD27.0 in Radnor, Ohio about 8 minutes after this photo was taken.
I saw this train stopped while driving down Liberty Road towards Delaware and was excited to finally get a chance to photograph a stopped train in the evening light.
