This tall table lamp was fabricated from a cast-iron baluster left at our local swap shop, a bronze maritime lighting fixture, a custom-cut granite base and a clear piece of acrylic to tie everything together. The lamp is an led bulb.

The TPW crew swaps out SD40-2 #3443 for GP50 #5015 while also sorting out two other GP50s simultaneously.
Our door bell is the analog kind, where when the circuit is completed the solenoids will cause the pins to strike the tone bars to make the "ding dong" sound. Normally the only switch is the one outside that visitors press. I'm basically adding another one.
MRS 257 switches empties for loads in the shadow of the highline at Arsenal Street.
Thanks to the Maunter's for "chasing" info in this area and keeping me on legal streets!

One of my winter projects was updating the track configuration of my HO layout. Now, General Iron and Peerless are serviced by CP Rail/Chicago Terminal on an entirely separate track segment from the UP-served industries.
Pictured here, Chicago Terminal's SW8 switches out an airslide hopper for a tank car full of corn syrup at Peerless Confection on Lakewood Ave.
Eventually, this track will be paved into a "street running" section, and the temporary paper Peerless building will be replaced with a more permanent structure.

Fiddly switch assembles for the footlights, before they are sealed inside weatherproof plastic.
The knots are because the heatshrink plastic sleeving won't contract to the cable width, but will close around the knots.
One set of knots is glued on, partly to simply the job, partly because I'm pushed for time, mainly because I'd lacquered the boards before I realised I needed a second knot.
The folding on the left of the board is the cable clamp, the plastic bit around the switch is to stop the heatshrink tube squeezing the button permanently down, and board is longer than you would think it need's to be because these boards are tiny and it must orientate correctly within the tube, and stay in place in use.
