1968 Pro Street Camaro OTGP Performance Fabricated Headers and Exhaust by On the Ground Performance

This 1968 Pro Street Camaro is not the industry standard when it comes to Pro Street. We designed and built this chassis specifically around a Keith Black top alcohol hemi engine with a 2 x 3 space frame and full 4130 cage and supports. For the ease of street driving we incorporated our 4130 clevis style swingout-bar kit. We also designed this chassis to be separate from the body for finer detailing of the chassis as well as the inside of the body. It also has an OTGP set of custom headers, these ranging from 2-1/4" to 2-3/8" primaries through a 4-1/2" collector. All of the sheet metal interior is 18 gauge and 20 gauge mild steel with the tunnel and console removable. This Camaro very much resembles a true real Pro Street with high horsepower, dual parachutes, and 60" wheelie bars.

This custom computer desk and shelf was built with Kee Lite pipe fittings and pipe. The shelves and desk top were made from a pressed laminent and cut to fit into the desk outline. This 1967 Camaro has a 3/4 chassis with 2 x 3 mild steel main rear framerails and the rest is all fabricated from 4130 tubing. This customer wanted to retain the factory front frame clip so we incorporated our tubular 4130 midframe along with additional supports on the stock front chassis. This car has our second degree 4-link kit, wishbone locator, and an anti-roll bar. We replaced the factory sheetmetal from the firewall to the rear of the car, and fabricated 3-1/2" mild steel exhaust to exit at the rear. We also used one of our 4130 swingout bar kits, which allows the driver to enter and exit without having to climb over a rollbar.

(So, what is his motiviation to post photos and text? What drives him? To tell you the truth, not even he can explain it, nor can he explain the fact that sometimes he likes to talk about himself in third-person narrative. ^_-;)

Yeah... It's me... on the webcam... with a microphone (The microphone will be important in a moment, I promise.) and a bag of Planters "White Hot Wasabi" Peanuts.

I like wasabi-flavored peanuts. I like wasabi to a degree. (Get it? ^_^;) I've graduated from putting bb-sized wads of it in soy sauce, up to small marble-sized ones, or at least the size of a pearl on a good-sized strand of pearls. ^_^; I used to be able to find the Emerald brand ones in a smaller size, but I can't find them currently.

Anyway, the microphone. Just clowning around, though I do want to go out to karaoke again very soon, at least before I find myself "temporarily" jobless. I'm thinking very very soon, probably without telling all but a few people.

I pulled up my AT&T Yahoo! page moments ago to check mail headers, and spotted the latest buzz about Lin Yu Chun, (great, another overweight, baby-faced guy who has the uncanny knack to mimic female vocal ranges... ^_^;) Did I mention that I performed "Breakout" by Swingout Sister twice at two karaoke places (private rooms, too bad...) and damn near nailed Corrine Drewery's style both times? Somehow, I am not too surprised, but I'm glad someone's becoming an Internet "Superstar". ^_^;

Hey... what about Nick Pitera, hmm? What about his version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", where he did male and female vocal roles? Did anyone forget about that? Oh, what short attention spans we folks on the intarwebs have nowadays.

(And now some real-world "serious" updates: I'm experimenting with setting up a private invite-only group on my other Flickr, and getting the results I expected. I may draft a few volunteers if need be from my contact list. Not just anyone will qualify, however. This is something that is about a full 180 degrees from the me you see and know, if you know me outside of Flickr.)

Anyway, I'm off - Going to watch a DVD then go to bed. I'll sign on in the morning and see what fun awaits me before going to work.
