The email is from Governor Vaughan of the Globetrotters, responding to an inquiry about the team's founding in Chicago. Vaughan and Mannie Jackson, bought the Globetrotters in 1993, were the first black lettermen at the University of Illinois and teammates on the Globetrotters. NOTE: The building, which had been put up for sale in 2017, suffered significant damage from two fires in December 2023.
The photograph was taken during the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Open House Chicago.

SoulPancake: Week 3 'Get Punched'. So, I cheated. The challenge was to get punched...and I was too scared. I've NEVER been punched before. And quite frankly, it sounds awful. So, instead, I captured the grand adventures of Swift and Mogli. Mogli tries to flirt with Swift. Swift is not interested and ninja kicks Mogli in the eye. The end. :)
