An egg that I took out of the refrigerator started to sweat in the summer heat. I love how three dimensional the egg appears due to the light and shadow in this image.
The woods and fields are coming alive again. This little bee (Lasioglossum, I believe) is about to hop off the tenpetal anemone flower...
Tiny little guys, 1/4 - 1/2 inch. This one was on a smaller size flower. Just so that you all know, it's my favorite bee.

Yesterday night, we worked with this new chestnut mare. We decided to lunge her first to see her behavior and her reactions over different exercises. She did really well but she was sweating a lot, so we did a little training of 10mins, no more.. Until next time !

This is one single Sweat Bee that I photographed multiple times and blended all 6 images together in this composite.
I had been photographing bees flying to this flower but none of the shots showed the bee in a sharp focus plane.
This Sweat Bee however flew the perfect pattern, so, he gets the golden ticket.
Sweat Bee's have the most fascinating eyes, they are big, beautiful and oversized for the size of their body. There must be a reason for that design....
