Beads on a glass plate, illuminated with halogen lights, and shot with an extension tube. One of my own presets added in LR. Converted to mono with a solid color fill layer (hue chosen from image) and the Color blending mode.

Swarovski Habicht 10x40 with deep purple coatings and although suffering from some corrosion to the aluminium, in very good order. Image is bright and fairly sharp but with a slight yellow hue. They are also very light weight. and well made . Compared with the Kershaw Monarch 10x40 the image is brighter, wider but not quite as sharp.

Lacoste, Swarovski, Polo, etc were swamped by Asians, while Oroton was packed with a more even mix of the shopping populace.
btw, this wasn't the end of the queue. It continues on for another 10m in the hallway to the toilets.

Boxing Day Madness at Chadstone Shopping Centre!
The shopping centre was open at around 7am. We arrived at around 9am, and took around 20 minutes to find parking. Surprisingly, it wasn't too packed inside.
Didn't buy much, just there to see how mad it was :)

A choker I found at the local car boot sale/ market. It only cost me £2. It is genuine Swarovski as only one half of the beads is coated with the Aurora borealis finish. Also the cut of the crystal is perfect - no off centre cuts or air bubbles. Found 09/09/09
