Sutton Park 10K 2012

Sutton Gault is a part of the parish of Sutton-in-the-Isle. It comprises a few houses and farms and an inn, 'The Anchor'. The Old Bedford River and New Bedford River pass through Sutton Gault and often flood into the land between them. It was also the site of Eric Laithwaite's magnetic levitation train tracks. The name derives from the gault clay that has been extracted from there.

All these were taken in Aug 08 in and around Sutton Windmill Norfolk there is a great Museum which showa old packaging goods from over a 100 years to the presant day

From Sutton Bridge, the River Nene flows in almost a straight line just over four miles to The Wash. A port was built at Sutton Bridge and part of it is still in place. The building on the left was once the Bridge Hotel.
