Wonder Bread is no longer available in Southern California which is too bad because it was my crack. Thankfully, an angel in a far away state sent me some! This fluffy white chemical bread and melty chocolate kisses have been keeping me alive- they are the only things not making my teeth hurt worse. Thank you, secret angel! :)

Support Single Payer Health Care!
America has many socialized services... a socialized police department, a socialized fire department, a socialized public school system, a socialized library system...
Single Payer Health Care places the well being of the patient before the profits of the health insurance company. It encourages preventative medicine, will save us all money, it will ensure medical care for everyone and improve the quality of our lives.
Floridians for Health Care urges everyone to call their representatives in Washington DC in Congress and in the Senate and let them know how important this issue is to you and to every single American.

As the bidders were reduced to two - London and France I thought "we have no chance of winning." When we won I thought "I will not watch it" and yet as I caught David Beckham receiving the flame on British soil I suddenly realised how proud I was. After regretting not taking part in the Opening Ceremony and regretting not attempting to get tickets in any ballot I got caught up in Olympic fever and bought some pricey seats for the Women's Basketball Final.
Seen at the British Wildlife Centre, Newchapel, Surrey. The young squirrel tried, several times, to perch in the conifer to eat a nut. Increased weight meant that the branches chosen were not substantial enough. Finally, the squirrel found a stronger branch.

At a special Renaissance Circle event Tuesday night we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with some penguins. In the Zoo's current Penguinarium is a small room attached to the habitat where six Renaissance Circle Members and a Keeper sat as the door from the habitat was opened. Before some of the penguins wandered in as they felt like it, we were instructed on the appropriate method for feeding the birds, warned that they were know to jump up into laps, and that they liked to be pet. This was an amazing experience and though we only had a few minutes with the penguins I would love to have the chance to spent time with them again.
