Again, another picture from work. Just can't stop seeing images. I was told to get a count of these cylinders and send them back to the manufacture because they were out of tolerances. I started to stand them up on my red work table so it would be easier to count them. While I was standing them up I began to see a pattern appear. Counted and the break buzzer blew. Ha now is my chance (legal)! I rearranged them a little and snapped a few shots.

This one came out the best, a little cropping and tweaking in P.S. and this is what I came up with.

What do you think?

We're kinda late to the party but better late than never right? :)

Supporting recasts is no way to thank the artists who put in a lot of their time, effort, skill and imagination to give us these dolls that play a big part of our lives as ball-jointed doll enthusiasts.

So give these awesome artists some love and go #proBJDartists. :)

Barkata is a Sudanese word for scavengers. Sudan’s poverty rate is estimated by %46.5 (2009 National Baseline Household Survey), violent armed conflicts in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile regions has forced millions to flee their hometowns to seek refuge in Khartoum the country’s political and economic capital leaving their livelihood behind to strive in a city that offers no protection or support for its six million residents. Scavengers spend their day sorting trash in pursuit of any objects that may bear some value, Plastic bottles are the main bounty that they look for to be collected and then sold to plastic recycling plants for what equals $6 per day for a person. These photos were taken in the Omdurman Central Disposal Facility.

I wish to dedicate this pic to my dear friend who's sick.... but I know she will pull through.... for your, Lisa.

HBW everyone!

A long exposure night shot of a grouping of unused construction pillars. The scene seemed odd to me so I couldn't help but snap a shot of it.

TEXTO DO ERNANIB:

Ajude!!! Divulge!!! Dê corda nesses pequenos relógios de vida.

There is a time for planting and a time for harvesting. We are all in a hurry to live, not to die.We have time for internet, for friends, for playing, for working and we never have time to stop and help others. We have time for watching TV, reading the papers or a good book but we never have time for reading a message asking for help.

But there are the ones who don’t have any more time to lose. The ones who didn’t have time to plant. That barely have time to play. That won’t have time to say “I love you, mom, dad”. Because someone, somewhere didn’t have time to read this message, to try to know what it means, to try to know how to help. Because many times who could help don’t have the time, because it’s not an investment with short term interest or because thinks its time is too valuable to spend with somenone who doesn’t have that much time.

Stop for a moment.Try to read and get informed. The children that are about to say their goodbyes to life will be thankful for these few moments you took to help them.. Don’t let their life clocks stop just because you didn’t want to waste your time. Help them! Spread the word! Wind up these little life clocks

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although I may look like / the last plant on earth / and my partner like an empty can of beer / we support you / and join your call / ACR7015

A support from a Laurel Line bridge that was recently uncovered when they were excavating for new buildings I think. Someone said it's over a hundred years old.

A little before 6:30am on August 6 San Jose Fire Department received multiple reports of a fire burning in Public Storage on Felipe Ave. With reports of the blaze on Felipe and additional reports of fire burning in the building to the rear a second Full First alarm assignment was dispatched to the other address.

Units arriving at the storage facility reported heavy flame and escalated their incident to a second alarm. Ultimately it was determined the building to the rear was not burning and those fire units were added to the Felipe incident making up a third alarm.

Around 3 hours after it was first reported the blaze was extinguished. Storage units on the ground and second floor were destroyed. As is typical of a storage building fire fuel loads were heavy and it was not clear what was in the units or if there were hazardous materials.

Fire Associates of Santa Clara Valley were responded to the scene to provide Firefighter Rehab support. FSU2 is a 2008 Ford F550 with a custom build out for Rehab use.

To see the full set from this incident check out YourFireDepartment.org - Felipe IC

I have one image up for a public vote over at the International Street Photography Competition fotoura.com/2013/02/paul-andrews/ and another series of images over at photographipaul.see.me which also needs your support for a chance to be displayed in Times Square and get a chance to receive an artist grant.

Thank you all!!!!!!

Verdi 15 Occupata.

In support of North Birmingham Cats Protection,

2007 - 2021. My lovely little TJ came to us as a kitten found locked in a garage, tiny little kitten with a pink collar that was too tight, ,we put up notices , none claimed her. . so she became part of our family Such a pleasure to have had her for 14 years, a sweet happy cat full of fun, She did all the cat thinks, an out door cat. Always a pleasure to come home to, and have on my lap, I will always miss her so much, and hope to be with her again one day. Love you forever, my perfect little girl.

"I awoke with devout thanksgiving for my friends."—Ralph Waldo Emerson

THANK YOU, John Curley and the San Francisco Chronicle, for printing some photos from my Then and Now series in this week's edition of the Chronicle's 96 Hours entertainment section. To see my family photos in the paper means the world to me and will thrill my family to no end.

Good weekends, my friends! I can't put into words what you mean to me.

PS. If you can identify the Bay Area landmark pictured here, don't tell! I'm going to run a few more photos of it before I describe it. And no, it isn't the Palace of Fine Arts. It isn't even located in the county of San Francisco.
