Deliciously crunchy breadsticks are perfect for an appetizer or accompaniment to a Mediterranean dinner. Packed with the bright flavours of fresh rosemary and Kalamata olives, they can stand alone or pair beautifully with dips like baba ghanoush or hummus. Top them with fresh Parmesan for an extra gourmet twist!

Summer-fresh corn and local plums fit perfectly into this moist, tender tea-time cake. It needs no adornment, but a scoop of ice cream ever hurt! Backyard greens (background) made a delicious entree too.

Rich coconut milk laces a (more or less) traditional rice pudding that is scented with cardamom, cinnamon and saffron. Dates and raisins add sweet bursts that melt in your mouth.
Pictures don't do this Pasta-touille justice. TONS of vegetables, split peas and a teeny bit of chicken, laced with chevre and fresh mozzarella cheese!
All of this goodness finds a home with roasted peppers, tomatoes, Egyptian onion and a good hit of lime in this delectable condiment. Tortilla chips optional - carrot "planks" are equally awesome!
This hearty soup is packed with all sorts of goodness - Tongues of Fire beans, kale, garlic, corn, sweet potatoes, onions and home roasted tomatoes. Spiced up with a slew of different peppers and finished with a grain and legume "Aztec Blend", you won't be left hungry after a bowl!

Hot hot hot sauce in the making!! 4 Habaneros, 1 Hatch chili, and a bunch of white and Egyptian onions combine with garlic scapes, garlic cloves and only a cup of shredded carrots and two mangoes to temper the flame! Good thing there's a shot of rum for good measure - you'll need it!

This gluten free and vegan version of the traditional Portuguese "Rollitos de Vino Blanco" make great accompaniments to a glass of #dessert wine after a rich dinner. The light anise flavour keeps things mild and helps digestion too!

If you're as big a fan of Cinnabon as I am, but want a little more portability for your craving, these crunchy, spicy-sweet pretzels are the ticket!
Pretty much our whole garden and fridge stock goes into this hearty, wholesome minestrone-esque bowl: eggplant, zucchini, onions, tomatoes and herbs came straight from the backyard, while organic (and local) kale, garlic, carrots, leeks, cauliflower and tofu flesh out the rest of the broth. A Parmesan rind adds richness, while whole grain pasta lends a homey, stick to your ribs touch. Comfort in a bowl!
