I loved the way the sun was dancing across these flowers and their leaves as they swayed gently in the breeze.
Imo "August 15th, 1888" would have been a more attractive way of expressing the date than "G. 15. AUG. 1888."
At first I was confused by the "G." and I wondered if it meant "graven," but then I remembered the Freemasons and their veneration of the letter G as a symbol of Geometry and their God, whom they conceptualize as the Grand Architect of the Universe.
For me personally the Masonic G represents the Galore of Weirdnesses we encounter in the U.S.

In downtown Michigan City, Indiana, on June 9th, 2024, was a datestone at a rectory, adjacent to St. Paul Lutheran Church, a "contributing property" in the Franklin Street Commercial Historic District, 13001013 on the National Register of Historic Places, on the east side of Franklin Street, north of East 9th Street.
