Happy fence friday :)

On New Year's Eve I went out to capture some late day shots in the Marathon County countryside east of Wausau, Wisconsin. As the sun was going down I drove to several spots to capture the same sunset from different locations.

I posted this pic some time ago, but decided to re-visit it with some extreme tweaks to the original raw image. The original post, as well as this one is in my sunset album. Which one is the best???

The mountain is Mt. Borah, the tallest peak in Idaho. This photo was taken from the southern end of the Beaverhead Mountains, two ranges east of the Lost River Range that hosts this large mountain.

Lembro de ter acesso à câmeras fotográficas desde criança. Sempre gostei muito de fotografias!! A paixão pegou mesmo a uns 4 anos atrás qdo tirar fotos apenas das pessoas nas festinhas ficou monótono e descobri o macro da câmera. Entrei no flickr. Vi milhões de fotografias arrasadoras. Apesar de ter estudado fotografia na facu, na época eu não estava nem aí.. meu trabalho sempre foi ligado à imagem mas nada era tudo muito sério em relação a minha fotografia. O hobby foi ficando mais sério e comprei uma dslr..melhor coisa que já comprei na vida! Hoje a fotografia é um vício, uma terapia, um hobby e quem sabe trabalhos freelas.. Eu adoro tirar fotos, ficar manipulando no PS...e agora no LR. O mais TOP de tudo foi fotografar o casamento de uma amiga..foi pauleira! Tenho muito que aprender ainda! Gosto de fotografar de tudo e nunca usei actions..edito cada foto de acordo com o humor do dia. :)

Sunset @ the Mall of Asia

Sunset on The Watchman with the Virgin River in the foreground. I'm blown away by the beauty of southern Utah. Not just the national parks. We took highway #14 across from #89 to #15 - I do not know how many times the both of us went "wow". This is such a beautiful place.
