Another glorious sunset with some colour at Boggy Bridge Road in Winton Wetlands

Every time you wake up and ask yourself, What good things am I going to do today?, remember that when the sun goes down at sunset, it will take a part of your life with it.
Went down to the gorgeous West Wittering(yes, it's really called that) beach for this shot. The tide was out exposing the sandbars and the sun was just about to drop behind the Isle of Wight in the distance.
So we say goodbye to 2016, for those of us with a liberal world view this has not been a good year. Trump and Brexit have shown us that the world is full of people who are seemingly driven by hate and think in ways that seem entirely alien to us. I dislike this new post-truth world where facts are only facts if they "feel" right and where experts in a field are called scaremongers or on the side of the elite if they raise concerns. Fingers crossed that 2017 is a better year - Hope springs eternal.
This shot could be a reshoot for a couple of the themes this year. in the end i've decided it's a four in one kill for the Elements - Earth(sand), Water(sea), Fire(sun) and Air(sky).
I know some of you are probably wondering about the horizon, I'm pretty convinced it's level, the issue is there are a couple of sandbars and another layer of sea further out on the LHS and the RHS of the image has the Isle of Wight, the edge of the Solent Bay, even more sandbars and some clouds.

This is a sunset viewed by the peak of Table Mountain.
The sky was very clear, without clouds and a very strong sun.
The result was a mix of warm colors in the sky and reflected by the mountains.
A spectacle.
Sometimes, just by looking at the sunset I can feel how small I am, nevertheless it's encouraging!

Sunset sky with the dramatic clouds before the rain falls down to the bay area. One of the best one I have seen :).

After the heavy fog from last night and this morning, the sun came out and this was the colour of the red sunset tonight. Our weather goes from one extreme to the next.
No editing on this shot.
