In the midst of planning some photo adventures for this spring and summer and I ran across this photo a couple weeks ago that I never shared. This was a great sunset that was shared with a large group of people in a photo workshop. They had all set up shot on the rock face of Jane bald well before I arrived so I had to find some alternate compositions to work with. It was a bit of a challenge getting this shot with the windy conditions but I am pretty happy with the outcome.

We had a nice time in Troodos mountains yesterday. The sky looked promising so we headed to Prodromos Dam hoping for some nice reflections. In the end we managed to witness something incredible. Almost 10 minutes after the sunset the grey clouds became completely red. I hope you like the result.
Work allows me the opportunity to make some visits to some fabulous places. Did not have my tripod but managed to get a decent hand held shot of a gorgeous sunset.

Threave Castle Sunset, back at Threave last night, the clouds were looking good, but as quite often happens, just as the sun falls, the clouds evaporate. A warm glow in the was to be had, i had wanted to try for a long exposure, but a gentle breeze over the river meant tonight the boat was moving, so no long exposure.

We had a very cold and sunny day today, tomorrow is supposed to go into the 40's, what crazy weather.
Yesterday was a big day...
The clouds covered all the sky and I was starting to lose some hope of having a big sunset...
In a matter of minutes, the sky changed and the sun appeared just below the clouds...
It was a really great moment.
