Based on the map from the game League of Legends. Built a while ago for a friend, just ended up taking pictures of it today. I tried to go for a playset style with this while still including many of the details that make the game so beautiful.

A lot of these same mushrooms turned inside out as they matured. Probably a type of russula or lactarius, but it's hard to tell which. Found in the cedar swamp at Bradford Bog.
After summoning up the courage to enter a couple of photos in a local competition, I decided to go to the opening night of the exhibition yesterday. Only to overhear two other photographers complaining about the 'bloody boring butterflies and macro' cluttering up the wall as they looked at one of my favourites from last year 😂
I think I'll have to post a bloody boring butterfly to get over the trauma 😉 😂
A bit of a cheting summoning of Homi, since the yellow shades aren't the same, but I still don't have a Keetorange Dollie =P
I could do a similar thing with the Medium Azure ribbon and Mari, but since she's always at Aigara's side...

The Earth shook upon the calling of the spell, rocks lifting up on their own accord while the mystic voice continues to chant. Piece by piece the stone creature came alive with a guttural roar, its green eyes shining in the light of the mage's scepter, ready to serve its new master.

So there was this "316" (16x16 studs base and 16 bricks tall) MOC competition going on in the Facebook group, and I got to be the judge alongside a couple of other friends. The judges weren't allowed to participate, of course, but I got real itchy just watching people build, and decided to make one and post it during the judging period. XD
Been some time since I've touched on the fantasy/medieval age themes, and I kinda miss it, considering I left way before I got the chance to jump deeper into it. Probably would go do something in that theme in the near future :P
Alias/Name: Mastix
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Powers: Stygian Ice (Purple Ice that can be summoned from the ground/depths of the Underworld). Can summon ghostly soldiers, Decay Blasts. Able to create Stygian Ice Armor, and Weapons as well. Soul Fire.
Personality: Calm, collected. Very put together, and is confident in his abilities. He isn't outright arrogant. While he's annoyed with his brother Zagreus, he does still care for him, and is envious of the position Zagreus has been given as Prince of the Underworld. If, somehow, anyone manages to beat him in a fight, he will not forget it, and will make sure that never happens again. He doesn't waste time, explaining plans of mass destruction, or whatever else. He doesn't need to explain how powerful he is. He just shows it.
Backstory: Mastix is one of Hades' two sons. The other being the Prince of the Underworld, Zagreus. Hades thrusts this responsibility upon Zagreus, as he is the eldest son, which in turn makes Mastix jealous. Hades dotes on Zagreus, not paying Mastix any mind. It doesn't help things that the left side of Mastix's face looks decayed. Mastix has been working towards becoming the Prince of the Underworld all his life, and to have his laissez faire brother take what is rightfully his is frustrating to his core. Zagreus doesn't care about his duties as the Prince of the Underworld. He just wants to leave the Underworld, and live his life. Like his life is a never ending party. Zagreus doesn't deserve all this attention, Mastix does. Mastix decides the best way to show his worth to his father is by traveling to the mortal realm of humans. Showcasing his true powers, his father would see how deserving he is of being Prince of the Underworld. While in the presence of mortals, he covers up his "decayed" side of his face with a mask. He will do anything to gain his father's approval.

Unfortunately the ribbon parts are only available in four colors, and I'm still working on two of the Dolls that have those colors, so right now I can just use Pami's one =P

This Aarti at Benaras' Dashashwamedh Ghat is mesmerizing. This young priest is one of the 6 who take this powerful Aarti till the mighty end. I was held by the illuminated aroma emerging behind this mortal, by the contours of golden & black, by the powerful jaw-line and firm chin of this priest. Was all this just a coincidence, or the Aarti really summons some unworldly powers?
A Boston, Massachusetts band who traveled to New London, Connecticut to perform at 33 Golden Street last Saturday. 33 Golden Street is a funky bar which hosts various bands. Summoner is a Sludgey, Doom band.
