With Aigara.
Seri was born out of a desire of give Aigara somekind of an iconic item/tool. I thought she would need something to demonstrate her status as leader of the Doll Armada, and what could be better than a summoning rod?
A portrait of the formidable Tall Hilda from 'Wanderlust', one of my favourite Edinburgh Fringe shows of 2008, and one of the most creative and original that I have ever experienced.
This was taken at Fringe Sunday in The Meadows, just as storm clouds were appearing. Tall Hilda bravely tried to ward off the weather, but sensibly beat a hurried retreat when failure seemed imminent. :-)
You can see my other shots of Hilda in (would you believe?) my Tall Hilda set.
The Arcade is my favorite event. DRD haunted mansion, Tentacio saytr vamp body, vamp head B, Lamb afternoon eccentric, and Pixicat rare Sphynx cats. Headband to be named, not arcade.
I took a ton of pictures of clouds out the window of the plane on my way to Photoshop World in Vegas last year, with the full intention of doing some sort of an image like this. I finally settled on an idea to use one of them for a picture of some sort of storm creating super hero...or villain I guess.

Darkness enveloped me.
Velvet to the touch.
Heartbeats all around me.
The urge is just too much.
Ten souls is all I have to bring.
But I cannot resist.
The cry of death is what I’ll sing.
Let the cold reaping begin.

Once every generation, a pale-haired girl is born among the Sarlenei people. They call her The Pallora, meaning “light without fire.” Her one mission in life is to summon the Scarlet Flounder when the tribe’s pride burns too brightly, and they risk extinction by their warlike ways. Its levitation reminds the Sarlenei that even glory must occasionally rise, cool, and return to the depths before it consumes itself.
Image imagined in MidJourney AI and finished with Topaz Studio and Lightroom Classic.
I'm not sure what the rabbits in my garden are up to, but it looks like witchcraft to me.
(Playing with projection and point lighting at night. Gotta love a pink and teal combo.)

Model/MUA/Original Wardrobe: Kato
The Lady Amalthea necklace: Tragically Adorned
[Still ever so slightly uncertain of this edit, but mannnn if I couldn't ask for a more amazing model for this shoot! Kato embodies the Lady Amalthea from one of my childhood favorites: The Last Unicorn. I can't possibly have thought of anyone better to play the role of the last unicorn. Look forward to more images from the Last Unicorn set in the days to come. ♥]

I liked this when I first uploaded it, but the more I look at it the more I want to choose a different image and remake it xD
EDIT: I tweaked it >.>
A member of the NATO-led United Defense Forces summoned to London to launch Operation Downfall against the Mimics. Cage is attacked by an unusually large "Alpha" Mimic and uses a Claymore mine to destroy it. The Mimic's blood douses him just as the mine explodes, and Cage wakes at Heathrow the previous morning with ability to REPEAT THE DAY.
This is my second and also main figure for series Edge of Tomorrow - my favourite movie of this year. Enjoy and feel free to comment!
Vincent van Gogh Foundation Arles
ARLES / The complete renovation of a former private mansion in Arles exactly responded to the Foundation’s desire to bring a contemporary perspective on the work of Vincent van Gogh to life.
A completely original artistic project – to summon the genius of Van Gogh through the works of twentieth and twenty-first century artists. A historic place – in the heart of an area painted by the master and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the 2,400 m2 of the Léautaud de Donines mansion, built in the fifteenth century and held since 1924 by the Bank of France. And finally, the technical specifications demanded by the most prestigious museums. Faced with these requirements, this renovation and extension was organized around another major character: the particular light of Arles, so dear to Van Gogh.
Exchanges. The architectural project tapped into the core of the Foundation’s artistic mission: to create exchanges. Starting with the conversations between Van Gogh – (who is not represented in the collection, but the light and the place Arles make him vector and there are always a few borrowed works of his that are exhibited - when we were there, especially interesting ones that I did not know yet) – and the artists: those of the collection, those invited to expose, and those artists who created works in harmony with the building: Bertrand Lavier with his sliding entrance wall, Raphael Hefti, with his coloured glass sculpture on the roof of the bookshop, and Fritz Hauser, who created the stairwell.
Topographies. Natural daylight, the famous light of Arles, guides the reorganization of exhibition volumes and space (1000 m2), designed with exceptional modularity to best serve the works of art, and in rigorous relationship with conservation requirements. Throughout the visitor’s experience, there are colourful projections on the immaculate walls of the reception area and gift shop, an extension of the glass above the entrance in the courtyard.
Skylight openings in the large exhibit hall transmit a structure created on the rooftop terrace: 20 sheds arranged in five rows of three, each oriented according to the path of the sun. The other rooms and offices are lit by a pre-existing tubular daylight and the whiteness of the limestone that has rediscovered its centrality.
Finally, there is the direct daylight from the open sky on the cascading terraces arranged to sketch out a variety of landscapes: from the intimacy of the first floor to the roof, where the panoramic view is revealed, this view that marks the building in its relationship to the city and its surroundings, and in doing so, as Guillaume Mansart states, its relationship to the history of art.
Jahrhunderts in Erinnerung rufen.

NIght shots don't always have to be serious! We took this at False Kiva during our recent trip to Canyonlands. We were playing around with night photography and my buddy got the idea of photographing his shadow. I had to use my 15mm fisheye to grab the entire scene and this is the full uncorrected fisheye view. I liked how the flashlight reflected the green color from his jacket on the backside of the ring. Moonlight helped illuminate the canyon below on the right side of the image. It almost looks like he's summoning his shadow!
We were on a brief vacation at the seaside in Milano Marittima, a locality of the ancient town of Cervia and I could not refrain from trying some sunrise sessions. If you are not an occasional visitor of my photostream, you will know that this is a recurrent custom for me :-)
In this stretch of the Adriatic shoreline beaches are exploited to the last inch for tourism - beach umbrellas and chairs literally everywhere...
So I decided to try a different environment. Cervia is renowned for its "sweet" salt, produced there since Etruscan times. Indeed, the town is nested between the sea and the saltpans. This is the first shot of a series dedicated to the saltpans of Cervia at sunrise.
The saltpan is an environment rich in biodiversity - full of bird calls and fluttering wings... I have even spotted a large group of pink flamingos in the distance, but they were too far to be decently captured by my poor 300 mm lens.
This photograph is from my second sunrise session at Cervia saltpans, and my 14 years old son Jack was with me - with his brand new Nikon Coolpix 610 and my old tripod - his very initiation to this kind of photography, although it was not his first sunrise ("A wonderful experience", he yawned as we were heading back to the hotel, "yet not to be repeated too soon" ;-)).
The world around us was absolutely still and silent, but for the calls of the birds in the darkness (there were none here, though). When we arrived at the chosen place (quite near the house portrayed in my Reflections from the past) the stars were still shining in a velvety night sky. Then curtains of light began to rise from the horizon, revealing a translucent sky draped with just a few clouds - some moderately interesting ones, still not enough for my taste... however one cannot summon magnificient clouds at her will :->.
However the surface of the water was as still as a glass mirror and was giving wonderful reflections. Then, at last, even the brightest stars had a last shiver and faded. The sun rose above the horizon and the diverse life of the saltpan began unfolding in its full scope.
I have to admit that I am not highly satisfied with this shot, but sometimes it is better a modest photo than no photo at all :-) Hope that you will enjoy it anyway.
I have obtained this picture by blending an exposure bracketing [-1.7/0/+1.7 EV] by luminosity masks in the Gimp (EXIF data, as usual, refer to the "normal exposure" shot), then I added some final touches with Nik Color Efex Pro 4.
Some bands in the sky returned here... they seem to be due to use of the MMM mask from Saul Goode's excellent script - not always, though...
After a weekend of anime watching marathon, me and my wife decide to do something stupid, got our self a face mask from a party shop and created this image. Hope you guys like it. By the way try guessing which anime did we got this idea from, there is a few.
