It was just like the last summons--pull them in from the Hell or the Abyss, use a few crystals to trap them, and take some of their blood for sale in the black market. It was always the same.
Weak people loved tasting the blood of a demon or devil--the power it held was like a drug to them and when the blood was digested from their system, the high--the power--was gone. They would be at the door asking for more.
It was a lucrative business, but it paid the bills. This time, however, did not go as planned. The crystals used to stop this demon was ineffective. The humans in the room began to have nightmarish visions. Horror struck them as they realized they had summoned the keeper himself, poised to destroy them all.

I'm trying to feel alright but the dark feels as if it is pulling every thought out of my mind like teeth. I feel restless and yearning for creativity and to be frank and I don't know a frank but if I did he'd mention money. Creativity doesn't always go with money but I wish my creativity could summon money. I don't know. I miss New York and I'm tired of my thoughts.
Based on the map from the game League of Legends. Built a while ago for a friend, just ended up taking pictures of it today. I tried to go for a playset style with this while still including many of the details that make the game so beautiful.

It seems disingenuous, perhaps, to talk of 'Happy Monday' at a time when the weight of the pandemic may be falling heavy on many of us... but I hold on to the joys of happiness to sustain me, and hope that you find a little joy here.
I picked up the lovely Niika gown from Spyralle for the $30L special on Saturday! It's a beautiful little gown in the standard five sizes of rigged mesh plust three sizes of 'fitmesh'. This is an older piece: this is not mesh body fitmesh, but rather fitmesh variations designed around the standard body. That said, you can probably find a variant that looks good with some appropriate use of alpha zones. The Fitmesh B size worked pretty well on my Maitreya Lara body, my biggest difficulty is the same I always have with the standard five size mesh: my chest is on the smaller size (me and my A-cups) and that generally leaves to much space in the bust. I really love the Fern texture, and I would love if Kerryth might use this textuer for a fitmesh version!
I didn't intend on creating a Spyralle-heavy shoot, but the Spring Leaf necklace and earrings just worked perfectly here.
And yes, that bowl is also from Spyralle!

In a small village on National Highway 1, between Drass and Kargil the villagers were in the middle of a sit down protest.
The reason for this was that they had been stopped from farming on the land behind their village as it was too close to the LIne of Control and therefore rather dangerous. They were not happy so they just all sat down on the highway, the main link between Srinagar and Leh. An official was summoned all the way from Srinagar, many hours away.
We were all stuck there until he arrived with his entourage. He talked to the villagers and within 10 minutes they all got up and let the traffic through.

A lot of these same mushrooms turned inside out as they matured. Probably a type of russula or lactarius, but it's hard to tell which. Found in the cedar swamp at Bradford Bog.
After summoning up the courage to enter a couple of photos in a local competition, I decided to go to the opening night of the exhibition yesterday. Only to overhear two other photographers complaining about the 'bloody boring butterflies and macro' cluttering up the wall as they looked at one of my favourites from last year 😂
I think I'll have to post a bloody boring butterfly to get over the trauma 😉 😂

White Mountain Apache Crown Dancer
The Mountain Spirits ensure the well-being of the people by protecting them from epidemic diseases and enemies. The Mountain Spirit Dancers or Crown Dancers “become” these sacred beings. The Western Apache call them the Gaan while the Eastern Apache know them as Gaa-he’.
Once he made the Apache, the Life-Giver set them on the earth and taught the tribes the Lifeway. Among the Lifeway’s tenets were generosity, respect and kindness to others. The Life-Giver sent the Apache theGaa-he’ as helpmates. The Gaa-he' demonstrated the Lifeway to the Apache and gave them strong medicine to fight disease and rituals to invoke blessings. Eventually, the Apache acted badly and the Gaa-he’ left to live in the mountains.
When the Apache tired of their wicked ways, they found messages left by the Gaa-he’ in caves in the sacred mountains. By imitating the dress and dance of the Gaa-he’, which was revealed to them through the cave drawings and through the revelations of the medicine men, the performers of those rites could be touched by their power.
The Gaa-he’, represented by mountain spirit dancers, continues to play an important role in Apache life. Energetic dances summon the Gaa-he’s power and are accompanied by singing and music. Symbols such as the sun and moon, white triangles representing the sacred mountains, and evergreen boughs, absorb harmful spirits and intercede on behalf of the ill.

So there was this "316" (16x16 studs base and 16 bricks tall) MOC competition going on in the Facebook group, and I got to be the judge alongside a couple of other friends. The judges weren't allowed to participate, of course, but I got real itchy just watching people build, and decided to make one and post it during the judging period. XD
Been some time since I've touched on the fantasy/medieval age themes, and I kinda miss it, considering I left way before I got the chance to jump deeper into it. Probably would go do something in that theme in the near future :P
