ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਸਬਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਯਾਨੀ ਇੱਕ ਜੂਨ ਤੋਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਾਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਨਾਨਕੇ, ਕੋਈ ਦਾਦਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਾਸੀ, ਭੂਆ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਸੋਚੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗਰਮੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕੋਪ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਜ਼ਾ ਕਿਰਕਿਰਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਣ। ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਣਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਚਪਨ ਯਾਦ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਬੱਚਿਓ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਮਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਬੜੀ ਹੀ ਸੰਜੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
