The Summers Meadow Rd. is just South of Bridgeport off of Highway 395. This was my third canyon of the day and the weather was a lot better in this area. Now the temperatures were in the 40's and it wasn't snowing! I wasn't sure what to expect as I drove off of Highway 395. All I could see was brown meadow land as far as I could see.
I kept driving closer to the mountain peaks and as I came over this rise in the road, I saw this grove of aspens along a creek. I loved this view. The mountains show the dusting of the first snow this year and I was able to capture a late yellow aspen grove. I kept driving up the road to the base of the mountain in the background and found another creek with aspens. It ended up being a great drive.

My Nokia 7.2 found a lover with long fingers in Paris while I was changing the Metro Line . So back in NRW again I bought this phone and tested it in a park in Duesseldorf City.
The fields and prairies during the summer days can be too hot and harsh for my liking, especially for photography. But there's something amazing about being there as the sun sets and that golden sun casts across the grasses. Birds and other animals are out catching a last meal or getting ready for the night.
This Bobolink flies around the prairie interacting with the other bobolinks of the area. Seemingly playing a game of tag.

Time for some more flowers from my garden, where it's been pretty damp for the past fortnight. It's now beginning to feel a bit more summery, and the Philadelphus is full of blooms.
With winter lingering on I can't help but miss summer.
Second Life lets us create any season we want any time of year and BackBone has you covered with some great new outdoor decor. The Rattan Set now at Equal 10 includes hanging chairs and a glass topped outdoor table with my favorite phallic fruit.
Available in light or dark this set has a ton of great pg and adult poses.
If an outdoor lounger set isn't enough to make you miss summer then how about a romantic boat.
BackBones Dream Boat now available at Sultry is what dreams are made of. The soft comfort of a bed and pillows wrapped in the comfort of a small intimate boa that you and your loved one can spend the day cuddling on... or doing far more adult things.
BackBones Dream Boat comes in three fun colors ash, blush, or lilac and is a must have for your ideal summer scene.
So when your ready to say bye bye winter and hello summer check out BackBones Rattan Set at Equal 10 and BackBones Dream Boat at Sultry.

Three assorted blue flowers, all much visited by bees at the moment. This is a very large Hebe which flowered almost all of last year, was trimmed early this spring, and is now is full bloom again.

Always a cool find, and here I thought migration was goin slow for me..LOL..

The only completely red bird in North America, the strawberry-colored male Summer Tanager is an eye-catching sight against the green leaves of the forest canopy. The mustard-yellow female is harder to spot, though both sexes have a very distinctive chuckling call note. Fairly common during the summer, these birds migrate as far as the middle of South America each winter. All year long they specialize in catching bees and wasps on the wing, somehow avoiding being stung by their catches.
