It is short here in Iceland, but we try to enjoy it.
That image is taken from my home town Garðabær at the cabital aria, only few minutes drive from our Cabial called Reykjavík. Out Arnarnesvogur, first sea water you see the sun glove of, middle is the land where our President Mr. Guðni Th. Jóhannesson is, called Bessastaðir. And the bay called Faxaflói futher out where the mirror reflection of the sun shines, at the other side of it is a Peninsula called Snæfellsnes.
Been sailing over that bay many times and it is very nice. End of it is a small Glacier called Snæfellsjökull a old Volcano you can see there in distance on that image. My granny was born on that Peninsula and raised there on a farm called Ytri Tunga, born in a earth house. In only on generation living standard have change so much, now we all live in much nicer homes. She passed few years ago age 96, miss her every day. Was the most positive person ever.
And fairy tale written of that on of Jules Gabriel Verne people traveling to centre of earth.
There are countless volcanos in Iceland and we have one active right now. Close to the International Airport.

We are now proved of getting again sailing in our town. So perhaps next year we will have sailboats, kayaks, surfskis and ocean swimmers on a image _/) _/)
