Cette armure n'a rien à voir avec le Cyber Sub-Zero de Mortal Kombat 9, j'ai commencé ce projet bien avant qu'on apprenne qu'il y aurait un Cyber Sub-Zero dans ce jeux.

A campanha "Válvula", criada pela AlmapBBDO, vai reforçar as características do produto: a combinação de um líquido especialmente elaborado para ser mais refrescante e o moderno processo de fabricação, a dupla filtragem realizada a -2ºC.
No filme de estreia - "Vizinhos" - os pesquisadores observam os consumidores numa festa em um bar. Um deles gira a válvula para fornecer cerveja comum. A bebida passa por apenas um cano. Os clientes do bar dançam animadamente fazendo muito barulho, mas um garçom anuncia que os vizinhos pediram que baixassem a música. O que gera grande frustração dos clientes.
I derusted (vinegar bath) and sanded the axe - was going to paint it blue with silver stripes like the pictures in teh old catalogs - so I primed the whole thng (except the bits) only to find out that the stripes are actually NOT PAINT!. So I painted blue and then masked out the stripes and bead blasted them, and resanded.
Would redo if I can get a better grasp on the actual profile of the axe, and then doa better job of striping - but until then - a fun project.
Will be putting a new handle on (re-hanging as they say) next week.
These are from the netting that I've draped over a cherry tree to keep the birds from getting all the cherries.

After a day of rest from teaching kids at school (though I did catch up with marking and reports!), I felt invigorated enough to venture out with my camera to try and catch what there might have been of the sunset. Unfortunately, it didn't quite materialise though there was a faint afterglow that I held in with stacked 0.3 and 0.9 soft edge ND grads

A Vaughan Sub Zero Double Bit axe - pattern believed to be "Puget Sound Falling Axe".
Now I need to find a manly sized tree and see how it works!
The handle is a 36" Hickory from Tennessee Hickory Products. It is a nice handle and worth the money spent - but in hindsight - I think a lighter weight handle (especially near the head) and possibly short in the 28"-30" lenght is a more correct handle for this. It seems a bit too heavy and hard to handle. Sturdy as heck though!
From the journal of Professor J Dimbledreck: "I personally have found that the Fizziwig Annihilator Mk II, while greatly bedevilled by over-heating problems during the Mars Campaign, nevertheless serves admirably in sub-zero conditions."

Pure euphoria was felt around the globe as the results of the 2008 Presidential elections were announced. History was made tonight while tears of joy were collectively shed by everyone.
Xavier and I joined friends at several places to wish for the best outcome... and we got it! We hung out at rowdy noize club DeRailed and never left there... DJ DaemonChadeau has a way of grabbing you by the throat in a non-stop industrial noize assault.
DeRailed was the perfect place for the American spirit. Our country was born from rebels... noisy loud rebels who refused to bend to the mother country.
The party was intense as American avies and Europeans joined together to root for change.
Earlier, I went to see old friends at Divaz and hung out there to see a rare set by DJxHalloween, the best dj on the grid. Many there were speaking about the politics and all were hoping for a Obama victory.
I got a tp from DJ Zap Hax over at R.A.R.E. and he was doing an impromptu party celebrating the election day madness. Zap never fails to create the perfect sets, and it was so grand to be there with the Europeans.
I was exhausted from a lack of sleep and excitement, so Xavi and I headed to the beach to relax for a while. We reflected on American politics, the monumental task that faces Obama, and the almost forgotten war.
We both hope that people from all affiliations will come together to work for a better and stronger America. God bless us and let us all hope for a better future for our family, friends and country. Yes, we can! Peace and Love to all!
