While we return to our homes tonight through a snow storm bringing wind chills below 20 degrees, I find myself reminiscing about tropical sunsets through an abstract reflection obtained in another world.
Totally repainted Sub-Zero figure from the MK9 line.
I used several shades of blue and black/grey enamels and a mix of paints and different materials for the ice effects, wich is protected by several coats of automotive clear coat, which makes it shinier and more resistant.

Lily tiptoes outside. Birds were singing. Look at those intense cat pupil slits. She's all eyes and ears! We've both had it with the sub-zero temps.
All of these crazy people jumped into sub-zero lake water and an air temperature of 3 degrees F., all to raise money for the Special Olympics.
More sub-zero temperatures. More falling snow. And more COVID-19 vaccines. Another 600 DMPS teachers and staff arrived at the Central Campus gymnasium for the second Saturday clinic offered by MercyOne. When add to a similar clinic last week along with other opportunities that educators have had to be vaccinated over the past two weeks, around half of the 5,000 teachers and staff at DMPS have received a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Thermometer refused to rise above freezing today. Considering we're halfway thorugh December and that's the first time this winter, we're doing not too bad.
