PERSONAL FUN FACT: I knew this was a Fashionistas dress when I spotted it at the Salvation Army. It was a few days before New Year's 2025. Colleen and I had been feeling restless at home, and decided to go on a thrifting adventure. There was a very sad African American Barbie (from the 2010s or 2020s) wearing this. Her face paint was smeared completely off...giving her a creepy vibe. I didn't think her body would be that useful as a donor, but the outfit intrigued me. So I dressed it on Fruit Style Barbie who was nude, and a doll I admired as a kid. I also transferred the bikini that the AA doll was wearing to Miss Fruit Style. They don't really care if you redress the dolls at this store...in fact, they don't even care if the dolls are in pieces (I cannot tell you how many random body parts hang out in the toy section). I wasn't sure if this went to one of my dolls or not....turns out it did not. However, it's super gorgeous. The way the pattern is printed on is very flattering on Barbie's curvy frame. I know this won't hang out in storage all that long. Some moochie flea market rescue will be donning it in no time!

A fine period style house in the village of Motcombe, North Dorset. Known as "Church House" it is run as a B&B, but read reviews before you book!!! The owners have now changed the name of the house to "Motcombe Hall" but there is no signs!

Apparently this cute little girl has decided to be a redhead. I found this wig at the stand from Jpopdolls at the Ldoll and I couldn't resist to buy it. I think this bob style fits her better than the long curly hair. What do you think?

I also bought at the Ldoll all the clothes she's wearing and made the winter hat to match her owls sweater. I'm so in love with this girl!! <33

Out walking the other day and came across this style in the middle of a field with no fence on either side. Needless to say some people still climbed over it.

I made this pretty Celtic style bracelet yesterday. It was quite the challenge to make too!

I made the large pieces on a WigJig and watched a tutorial on how to make this.

i used 18 gauge, gold colored wire, 22 gauge gold colored wire and emerald green, bicone beads.

It takes a bit of practice to make the large Celtic style pieces and it takes a great deal of patience to wrap the thin wire around the large pieces.

The 'orientation' of wrapping the wire has to be exact and if it isn't, the pieces won't lay correctly on the wrist.

This project is not something that can be done quickly especially when you are first learning how.
